Great app to show students how to create sentences. Would love to see text to speech so nonreaders can use this app too.

I like how the children can recored their own sentences. I also like that there is a hint button to help children who are stuck on building a sentence. The one thing that is missing is text to speech within the hint button. It would be great if the text had voice output for children who need to hear the sentence again. There are different levels with this app and you can also add more than one user..

really good app for learning sentence structure and picture description

I think the app is really good. I love that the kids can record and save their sentences then play them back. It has different levels for hints too. I would love if you couuld press each word and it would read it for the child who might not be able to read very well.

Not worth the money

I purchased this app for my 6 year old son that has Expressive Language Disorder hoping we had found a fun interactive way to practice his speech. Unfortunately, it disappointed in many ways. Pros - Can create multiple accounts if using for more than one child. My children quickly learned what the buttons meant even though they couldn't read the words like, "record". Pictures are of good quality. Cons - You need to purchase add ons to access the entire databank of pictures. You ca purchase them all for $16.99, which, quite frankly, I think should just be included in the original app price. If your child is not able to read full sentences, the hints function requires the parent to read the "hint". This takes away the "cool" factor for my son who can immediately see this is atop, and not a game because mom has to hover over him. The recording feature can easily be replicated using the free video recorder on the iPad. And my son prefers this as he gets to watch himself and hear his own voice. I really feel like I wasted my money on this. Hopefully this review will help other parents save their money. Could be a good app for a teacher's aid or slp.

Lack Diversity

I really enjoy using these cards. They’re great for teaching a variety of actions and pronouns. However, they would be more inclusive if there were a wider variety of ethnicities represented among the pictures.

Best feature- the ability to record, use & type of pictures to elicit a complete sentence, a variety of student centered themes to choose What could be better - data collection, emailing results & tape recordings, eliminate signing in after each sentence

ILanguage Builder

I love this app for my clients but all of a sudden it will not let us choose what set of pictures we want. What's up with that? Libespeech8

Helps language

This app is really good for helping children with disabilities think about the language they use everyday.

Disappointed with update

With the update, the skip image button is not there. Import picture is in its place which makes quickly moving between pictures impossible. I was using and loving this app for a variety of speech-language needs. Please bring back the skip image button!
