EXR | Row together Virtually

Look no further. Multiplayer is not yet available but it’s coming and the developers introduce developments every month. EXR has motivated me to row longer and more frequently.

I’ve been using EXR for about a year now and have enjoyed countless sessions. I’ve been rowing on the water for 20 years and this storage is a great addition to me land training. I screen mirror my device to my smart tv so I have a big view in front of me when rowing and it definitely takes the doldrums out of long slow sessions. Seeing the start and end gates for my intervals when training is so cool too. I used to row on the Charles, so going asking the routes and seeing the sights and bridges is a lot of fun and really adds to the experience. The developers are publishing updates regularly and add new challenge goals every month. I’m hoping they will continue to add more real life locations and also more C2 ranked competitions pieces like 5k/6k and hour rows to they existing competition options.

I simply love EXR. I can now row for 45 minutes in a row. Its awesome and motivating. Keep up the good work.

Latest update broke the sound!

Inability to do it right! I created an account, got the email to confirm, and now nothing. I try to login, it tells me I have no account, I tried to create an account, it tells me the email is already exist. At this point, I don’t care if this app is the best in market, I moved on!

I tried a bunch of rowing apps but this one is by far the best one. Very entertaining, great visuals, fun challenges and mini games, great achievements and a super cool training app.

Similar to virtual training platforms for cycling, EXR makes indoor rowing an interactive experience. My workouts are more productive and the time flies by.

When I row in a gym, I can do 5-10 minutes before I’m bored or exhausted. When I do it on EXR, especially with training modes, it keeps me more engaged with the visuals. I’ve done an hour on the row machine no problem now, except my butt and upper hamstrings are SHOT. Highly recommend - it’s almost like Zwift but for rowing (obviously).

Always struggled with sticking with workout apps. This gets me going with the daily, weekly, and monthly challenges.
