Eye Care 20 20 20

Why I should open app when it’s alarm goes off for eye rest to your app to function? Because if I do not open it, 20 second timer wouldn’t work. Why it sends push about end of 20 minutes period? Why is it so awful looking? And why I bought it?!

App crashes when trying to save settings. 20s timer loops forever and 20 minutes reminder never kicks in.

I like the app, tja k you for providing it! Two things could be improved in my eyes (hehe): 1. The 20 seconds should start when I click the push notification or trigger them inside the app, but not automatically in the background. This way I’m always going to miss them. 2. Ideally I could set my „office hours“ for when I’m usually in front of a screen, so I don’t have to toggle the app on and off each day.

This is a very good, simple app for the 20-20-20 rule. 😄Pros: Has a schedule; even the paid version is a one-time payment and not a lot. ☹️Cons: Some features are paid for $1.99. 🆓Free features: Reminder every 20 minutes, starting and stopping manually, reminder to start, on only during some times. 💰Paid features: Changing the sound, setting a notification after the 20 seconds, changing the frequency. Tips: To not ignore reminders: Download on an iPhone paired with an Apple Watch. Go to the watch app: Notifications > scroll down to Eye Care > make sure slider is green. Now you will have notifications on your wrist whenever you are. Then go back to the main Watch app: Sounds and Haptics > Haptic Alerts > click so slider is green. This is so you can feel the notifications on your wrist. To have notifications only when you need to: Use focus modes and put this app in the allowed lists for any modes where you still want to hear reminders to look away. For the eyes: Use the 20-20-20 rule for any near work to keep your distance vision clear.

I have been asking the developer of this app to be able to change the timer to less than 20 minutes since my doctor said that I need to looks way from the screen every 10-15 minutes. I am able to change the timer to any amount of minutes past 20 minutes, why then am I not able to change the time to less than 20 minutes?

So I downloaded this for work. First off, the timer sounds even on silent and I did not appreciate that at work. Then it got worse. The app worked fine for a couple days and then it stopped showing me 20 seconds and just went with the 20 minutes. Then, when I tried to restart it, it would just keep counting down. Not happy. Found another app I like better.

The App is awesome! I have trouble with how fast 20 minutes goes by. Still adjusting to the interruptions

No frills! Does exactly what you want it to do if you have dry eye or eye strain… reminds you to stop and take a break!
