EZ TAG

I just completed moving my EZ Tag account to HCTRA on their website. It was a little time consuming setting up a new account, but the instructions were clear and I got it accomplished. All my activity, credit card info, and three vehicles transferred correctly. I then installed this app and logged in. All information is there! So far, so good. 👍

Setting up an account was quick and straightforward, making the whole process seamless from the start. The app itself is super convenient for checking tolls.

Starting November 2024, TxTag is migrating to HCTRA. After migration is completed and I start using this EZ Tag app, it would be great if your app could send me a push notification every time my TxTag was detected driving through a toll. That is a hint for you app developers.

Easy to set up

Sure, you guys clean up the highway and sure you guys offer road side assistance, but is all of that really millions of dollars worth of maintenance? I doubt the wages of a couple road cleaners and some call center operators cost you millions of dollars. You guys are abusing Houstonians and I am fed up. I pray that one day toll roads are outlawed, after all that’s why I pay taxes so my roads are built and maintained. Not to mention you are a bunch of liars as originally the toll was going to be used as a way to “pay for the highway building costs” which was a blatant lie as the highways are paid off and you continue to charge taxpayers millions of dollars a year. If you’re a Houstonian, stop allowing these companies to rip you off, stand up for yourself and say **** you to tollways.

There is no option to filter for a single day you force us to have two different days when starting date range. What if we want to filter and see which tolls we incurred for a single day only example 5/15/2024-5/15/2024 and we would only see tolls on that date. Right now if forces you to set two different dates and it will show tolls for both dates.

I have no issues with this app telling me my balance, and allowing me to pay. But the issue is that I have to identify myself twice by proving that I’m a human snd by taking a stupid test, all while being on MY phone. I absolutely hate those tests that require you to pick out pictures of a motorcycle or a bike or traffic lights and half the time the pictures are so small you can’t even see them. Paying your toll feed is a horrendous experience on this app.

It allows me to download the application then states it’s locked and I cannot access this!!
