Fable Town: Merge Story

Edit - changing my review to 1 star because I’ve been losing major progress for weeks now whenever I exit the game, support made it seem like it would be fixed by now but it’s still happening. They are coming out with new events (great) but still not fixing this huge issue. It’s annoying going in and having to repeat the same steps. Especially when you lose items you watched ads for. The only way I’ve found to save progress for a little while at least, is to not exit from the game all day, but I have such a habit of swiping my apps clear, so I keep losing progress. I tried everything, I even try keeping the game open in the background for hours to let the system update my progress. OG review I love it! It is so different from every other merge fables / evermerge-type games out there. But also so similar. Which is perfect! Beautiful graphics. I could go on and on. I truly hope it stays around! There have been a few merge games over the years that are great, and then they stop updating. Keep advertising this, and you’ll have a hit game! You can tell all of the work that was put into it. The only thing that could be improved is the slow speed at which you pick up and move items around on the board, as well as how easy it is to accidentally merge three items—especially when you’ve been saving the items for ages to do a merge five, and they magnetize together. It’s happened so many times already, lol. This game is going places! Absolutely love it!

I love the game so far! But I guess I leveled up, and it sent me to another tutorial on how to use the magnet. The piece it wants me to click on is not currently unblocked. I can’t get out of the tutorial to play the game and I can’t click on the piece it wants me to to get past the tutorial. Please help so I can keep playing!

This game has so much going for it. Great look, great story, fun creatures/pets, but it takes SOOOOOOO long to get anything done. There’s whittling away at debris or whatever and takes like twenty hits, takes more energy as it goes, and takes quite a long time to finish the last hit. You only get so much energy before you run out and when you level up? They don’t refill your energy. I play this game in between other games and maybe twice ( if that) a day. Leveling anything up takes a very long time too. I’ve spent money on this game and that doesn’t take you very far either. So meh. I could live without it.

I’m so sick of these games forcing us to go through unnecessary tutorials. Most of us know how to look at items and go “those should be merged together to make more pretties.” If someone doesn’t know how to do that, fine, let them go through the tutorial. Give the rest of us the option to skip. It’s a shame too, this game looked fun.

I feel like the game is more balanced than others of its kind that I’ve tried. It’s still challenging, but it’s just at the point where it feels fun and satisfying for me. No ads…not even optional ads. And when I reported a glitch, support promptly gave me an estimate for which future update it might be fixed by. Usually I think these games are agonizingly boring, but I’m really enjoying this one. UPDATE: Help, it broke. :( I was in the middle of collecting the coins on the peacat event board when the timer ran out, and now opening the game just results in an error. I can’t even open the app to contact support… I was having so much fun, but I don’t know what to do now. UPDATE 2: I don’t know if they saw my review or the next event had to start to resolve it, but it’s fixed now. I really wish it could be backed up to something other than facebook… I don’t use facebook. I just screenshotted my user id, at least.

This game only allows you to save game progress if you sign in with Facebook. I will never do that and cannot understand why it will not allow for Apple sign in. I told them and they gave a non answer of maybe doing that in the future. I also lost significant game progress and they cannot restore the lost progress. Play at your own risk! I gave them money and will no longer play this game or give any more money!

I love this game a lot! The only problem I have is that every time I open the app, it keeps crashing and a window pops up saying “Error. Restart game”, I close out of the app and open it again, and again it has and does the same thing as before. Please fix this issue

I’ve enjoyed the game until today. I was playing the side game when that event ended. Now when I open the game I get an error that says I have to restart the game. No matter how many times I restart the game is frozen.

I loved playing this game until the error message telling me to restart the game popped up. After reading reviews here and online it looks like they say they fixed it but actually didn’t as it’s still happening to many players. I spent money on this game and I hope this company fixes the issue soon.

I have found this game to be very interesting and creative. But I have hit a problem where I can no longer play. I get an error sign that says I should restart the game. It Wii not let me restart. Can you folks help?
