Farm Ranger App rescue
My name is Thabo Langa from Homelands, Meyerton in Gauteng. On the 27th October 2022, four guys came to steal my sheep and goats. With the collar on one of the sheep, I got a call around 3 am and when I checked the app, I realised the tracker showing me a direction outside of the animals’ kraal and yard. I immediately went out to chase the guys (shot two warnings) and they ran away. I realised that all 8 sheep and 7 goats were outside and were being taken away as they cut my fence. The thought that I could have lost all my my animals had it not been for the tracker, I really thank the farm Ranger app.
