Worked fine then Apple TV did a update and it won’t play . Still plays on iPad after same update. But we got it for the tv so not very useful.

Much ghosting noticed while watching UK drama, which is not noticed while watching the same show on the same 4K smart TV via another App. Commercials are of different audio levels, so a constant volume adjustment is always needed. Further, the same jittery commercial is often repeated back to back during the same commercial break; looking at Johnny Depp’s face for a whole minute through a Dior Sauvage Elixir is not what I enjoy the most. I don’t know what your directive on advertising is, but I am sure you can find other commercials instead of having us watch the same commercials numerous times during the same break. I wanted to try this App, but I will probably wait for Amazon Prime to carry the shows without annoying repetitive commercial breaks.

More people should know about these apps and Roku channels. I had no idea these were available. I’ve already cancelled all my paid subscriptions and exclusively use my Roku streaming stick in my rooms and the channels that have apps like this one on my iPad and iPhone when I wish to watch a movie/show. Definitely look into them, it’s worth it. Yes you won’t have “Netflix Originals” and various other “Original Content” from other providers, but I’d rather not be strapped into paying for content when I could be watching other things for free or step away from the screen more often and get a beer that I used all that spare change to buy.

Hard to believe that in 2024 there is no picture in picture functionality on such an app for iPadOS.

I thoroughly enjoyed this show! Wish there were more seasons!! Excellent acting from all persons! I couldn’t put it down!! Very exciting!!

Great selection of shows on this App, BUT… there’s no way to sync where you leave off so that if you pause a show or turn off TV when you turn the TV on again or unpause it it will NOT hold your place. That’s right if you pause something and come back five minutes later it starts over at the beginning or brings you back to the home screen. No way to favorite a show & No Way to setup or save a WATCHLIST! This is barbaric! Really Devs, save my spot and let me create favorites and a watchlist. Good selection of movies & shows but come-on NEED BASIC FUNCTIONALITY LIKE SAVE PLACE, WATCHLIST & FAVORITES LIST. I use app on iphone ipad & apple TV, logged into same apple id, app doesn't communicate to my other devices w what shows & where i am on one. Maybe create a user account login thing or something to facilitate saving favorites and holding our place on the shows?
