First Alert 4

I know they need ads but this is completely covered with ads and I can barely read the weather forecast with it freezing up to load even more ads. Not worth using.

The first thing one sees upon clicking “Top Stories” is an ad.

When you open the app, there are annoying Spectrum video ads that play. Takes 15-20 seconds to play and you can’t skip, which I then close the app and use another local news app instead. I’ll probably end up deleting this app if this continues. Otherwise the app is fine.

Living locally, I want to be able to access quality reporting without an unnecessary amount of advertising. I realize ads are required to shoulder some cost, but the forced timed ads when clicking an article, the endless ads apparently all targeting seniors at the end of the article, and ad headers/footers is just too much.

I used to like this app so I could see my local news since I don’t have television. But every time I open the app, I have to sit through an ad, and then once I get loaded into the app, any articles I click on, another ad. It’s frustrating, especially when I am on the go and something pops up about avoiding an area due to traffic or police presence and I’m forced to sit through two ads before I can get the details. Same thing for weather alerts INCLUDING tornado warnings, so to watch live coverage while trying to usher my children downstairs Im having to watch ads before I can get to the live coverage of what’s happening.

Now when you open the app the first thing is a video ad! It’s annoying can’t read the news. Deleted the app

This is the poorest choice of using your platform to exploit this poor young man and his father. Couldn’t you wait to see how he fares after such a heinous crime? No. You just want publicity, even at the expense of the victims. Deleting your app, and will NEVER watch this station again. Kudos for her stepping in, but completely not appropriate at this time. This definitely should have waited. So disappointed, and my prayers continue for Colin and his family. You should be ashamed

Since the October 24 update, my Android TV app does not work properly anymore. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

. Overall, just not a positive experience and I stay away from it.
