I requested/suggested an option to filter types of alerts by the types of alerts one receives (the various window panes one creates in the web app version) over 2 years ago & was told it was one of the new upcoming features. Well I still don’t see that built into the app, nor any new features to make this platform any better. A few tweaks could really make this a better, more reliable tool, both web & mobile versions.
This app is fantastic. It’s always the first to report anything, and is extremely easy to use. A reputable app that always follows up on stories, and makes sure to correct false reports, so you have the most factual information. Truly one of the best news apps out there, giving you straight facts and data.
There is a 60% chance when opening the app that it doesn’t orient itself to the way you are holding your iPad, and the app will then be stuck in that orientation. Only way to fix is to force close and reopen.
This app use to be unbearable when scrolling through the news. At the bottom of the feed it would load news and then jump randomly to a spot. I would have to scrolling up several pages to find where i left off. Not any more! It still glitches a little when scrolling through but nothing like it use too. Glad they figured it out.

Incredible app!! Free for any government employee or civil service worker!! Greatly increases situational awareness worldwide, within your own neighborhood, and work location!!
This app needs updates once a week. And if you don’t update it it prompts you to update everytime you open the app. Sure first world problems. But of the apps people use on a daily basis, they need updates about 1-2 times a year, this one is weekly sometimes.

This app is easy to use and keeps me up-to-date in the latest happenings according to my preferences. There are lots of features, menus and sub-menus so it can get a bit confusing but with enough time and effort this app does its job.
