I was using this bank for last two months, all my money was in this account, suddenly one day my app logged out and not able to log in back. I call the support they told me to visit any hsbc bank. Until that time I am bot accessible for all the money I have in my account. I am working 9 to 6 Monday to Saturday, I explained my situation and still they said they can’t do anything other than this. Its worst situation ever I faced in my life, im not able to move any single penny from my account. Its too shameful for the bank

Payee name has a bracketed word The mobile banking app doesn’t allow brackets!!

T.Turner of T A and A Turner. Telephone call on 24/10/23 re app update. Held on the line for too long at considerable extra cost. Can’t email and on line chat no use whatsoever. Original difficulty still not resolved despite assurances to the contrary. First Direct customer service deteriorating to unacceptable level.

I’ve been with first direct for over 18 years , I can only say it’s says it all. So efficient, friendly and helpful. The 24/7 banking is fantastic secure and well managed by first direct . I’d would highly recommend to family and friends as I have to my brother , his on board the first direct banking train lol. Kr Steve

Such an overly complicated app. You have to go through so many annoying steps to complete even the simplest of tasks. FD will claim these are security measures but other banks manage to achieve the same security and functionality without all of this headache. The design team behind this app should be ashamed.

Can’t really find anything to criticise. Does everything I need, easy to navigate and use. I don’t use the Insights feature or tags as I use Accounts Tracker App, but I can see it would be useful for some.

Very good easy to handle

Good service but no rewards for being loyal customer. Only new benefit, o thought about rewarding loyal ones.

Would always, definitely, recommend First Direct.
