The map feature is handy for surf fishing, but premium maps aren’t relevant. Social media features are unappealing, and species lists miss popular fish like kabeljou. Fish and tide forecasts are good, but the premium tier is overpriced. A flat fee to remove ads would be better.
I have noticed a number of fish species (small mouth bass is one example) listed in numerous waters throughout South Africa, this however is incorrect and the warm African climate makes very few waters conducive for SMB. Some areas in the country do have SMB present , but the waters depicting the presence of SMB on the FishAngler app is incorrect and wishful. I would suggest to make provision for app users to amend or rectify the incorrect species depicted. This will assist in the accuracy of the information shared on FishAngler app.
Brilliant App! Interesting to see what fishermen are catching and the detail shared from around the world. Catch & Release and preserve our fish stock!
It’s a good app but I really don’t like the fact that you have to pay to see certain maps. In my opinion it’s just really annoying Because I do a lot of wading and it’s nice to know the depth before fall into the drop that I did not know existed.
Absolutely love this app, far better than fish brain!
Please make it easier to log multiple catches in a single location. I’d rather not HAVE to set the location individually for each catch. I’d also like to be able to set the bait used for all catches at once, too. In addition, it often tries to lump multiple pictures of completely different fish — sometimes different species — as a single catch. It would be nice if I could easily split that into multiple catches.
