This site encourages awful online behavior, rumors, bullying, and more. It’s supposed to be about transparency and community but it really is like high school. Don’t know how anyone finds value here or how this business model is allowed

You really need to have anti bullying checks and balances- this is ruining people’s lives. Take out the disgruntled people who don’t work there anymore and do 3 strikes and you’re out!!!

The concept and user engagement is solid, but fishbowl goes out of its way to make it difficult to sort content by date or any other helpful sorting function, and the bowls are heavily moderated/censored, presumably by firms associated with them.

I cannot change my work place because it prompts me to verify email and for some reason the app thinks my work email is not valid and on top of that the FAQ questions have an arrow that will do nothing. It’s literally just FAQ… no answers. (Yes I tried app and browser)

You will see extreme leftist posts but anything that doesn’t toe that line gets you flagged and banned.

There very little discussion on competitive pay and benefits. It’s turned in to a chat group sharing Reddit stories.

Shortly after signing up you will receive dozens of emails, calls, and text messages from scammers overseas offering “remote work”. Thanks for selling my data without my consent fishbowl.

This app is basically filled with 1%’ers larping as your average person. They gaslight you for complaining about any COL issue in your area, or salary, and then say things like “You just have to be patient and grind. By 24 I was making $500k a year and the city was awesome.” Which I assume it would be, as you are among the highest earners in the country. Just avoid using any public sub. They not based in reality. They will make even the sanest centrist individual contemplate if a communism uprising would really be that bad for America, because at least people like this would disappear.

I used this app for several years and enjoyed it until all of a sudden I no longer had access but received text notices all day that I couldn’t read. I contacted customer service 5+ times and no one responded to help.

Really like this app, but the search functionality has been broken for a while now and it drives me insane. Why is this taking so long to fix? I just want to be able to search and have the option to display results by what has been posted most recently.
