FitBark GPS for Dogs & Cats

The app was excellent in its original form. The update is complicated, slow, and cumbersome. It has become too complicated, tech oriented, and a nightmare to load. This is one of those things where developers justified themselves by complicating a simple and functional idea.

I really dislike the new interface. It’s not just because it’s new, it’s because it’s objectively bad. You can’t see an hour by hour summary (activity, sleep, play) all in one place anymore. You can’t even easily get hourly data for anything other than activity. There is too much stuff/info and it’s confusing. Some of the buttons don’t work on my app even though it’s updated (like “see more” under Hourly Behavior)

I have had it in my FitBark for just over two years and I’m so happy with the quality of the product and the app. We originally got it because our rescue dog was a flight risk, but we kept it because having the fitness tracker was so convenient.The customer service is amazing. You won’t regret this purchase.

We got these for our 3 Scottish Terriers after a harrowing Friday night a few weeks ago. The wind broke our fence and they got out. All 3 are under a year old. Some kind soul picked them up and took them to the Humane Society but I decided I never want to go through that again, so they get the doggy version of an ankle monitor! I love the feedback from FitBark! I love the sleep and health aspects also! I can see which pup is the most active that day! Highly recommend! Thank you!

I am so frustrated with my dog’s FitBark since the software update a few weeks ago. The device used to last 10-12 days without needing a recharge and now we’re charging every 3 days. This isn’t helpful anymore; if my dog gets loose at 30% power, I’ll never see her again. She is either in the apartment with the FitBark connected to WiFi or out with me and (supposedly) connected to BlueTooth. I’ve been a happy customer for 4 years but am looking for a replacement.

I make it a challenge for Raven J to get all her points for the day. That means that I’m out more walking with her and getting my steps in. I check her points before I leave and then see what they are when I get back. She’s a very busy dog while I am gone. My sister turned me onto it and I’m glad she did. I have to keep this 1year Aussie doodle busy so we all sleep at night!

WAY too cluttered with data, I like all the new data, yet it’s really hard to find, read, and understand. The Legacy app version with the simple “clock” graphic is so easy to see your pet’s entire day at a glance. If the new app version included this, it might be tolerable. Please consider reconfiguring the data in this version in a cleaner layout. Also the refresh button and battery percentage are extremely hidden. Put that stuff on the main screen. Don’t bury highly used features. Please fix this new app.

I had an issue with my device and the customer support and tech team really helped me and fixed my issue within minutes they are PAWSOME !!!! I absolutely love this device it really keeps my dogs in shape and tells me how they sleep and play if your looking for a fitness device for your pets this is it!!!!

Absolutely awesome app

I got a Fitbark for my 6 pound chihuahua as a safety mechanism. Being so small, it’s easy for him to escape through small gaps in fences and dart out of doors without being noticed, so the comfort of knowing exactly where he is at all times provides an immense amount of comfort. We chose this brand over other GPS collars bc it was the smallest/lightest and because their customer service was by far the most responsive when I reached out with questions. We’ve had our Fitbark for about a year now and every time I’ve had an issue, I was able to connect with an actual, knowledgeable human (no A.I.!) within 2 minutes and given solutions that easily solved the issue every time. I’ve never experienced such great customer care from any company, ever. Beyond that, the Fitbark does its job well. I love being able to see when my pup’s being active and playing with his friends or going on walks while we’re away. He’s young and healthy, but I know that we’ll one day run into a situation where he’s not feeling well and the activity and vitals trackers will provide data to help us identify and nip issues in the bud before they become more serious.
