Today is 6/11/22, latest time stamp for roads near Moree is 19/10/22. Don’t bother if you need up to date information on flooded areas.
Fantastic app, very user friendly. Customise for user needs or colour. Very detailed. It would be great if it could cover Vic border levels & ACT as well. Lots of flooding on the Murray is actually in Vic.
I suspect the app has been abandoned, does not show flood warnings, evacuations or the extent of flooding. Should incorporate the flood information shown on the SES website.
I have the VIC Emergency app to monitor all the flooding and evacuations of friends and family in Victoria. That app is absolutely INCREDIBLE compared to this one! I have family who live on the border and this app only tells me the water level of the Murray which means nothing to me as I’m not from that area! I wish NSW or even the whole of Australia had an emergency app like Victoria does!
It was good until the actual measurements stopped going up when it reached 12.811m (Windsor), however the graph continued to show the level so was able to track that up to almost 14m.
Data showing is 2 days old. No idea how to register to log on. Useless when there are currently extensive evacuation orders across greater Sydney
This app has great potential but is nearly useless at present (July 2922). Simple things like the river height reading does not match the associated chart. Our local site is displaying 9.3m when the chart shows 11.7m. This is dangerous and must be fixed. The flood markers are not up to date. While some show recent date and time stamps there are large areas that are just not showing anything. If it cannot be fixed quickly it should be taken off the store. It is dangerous if people are relying on this app to show them what is happening in their area.
good amount of information, unfortunately it won’t let you check routes, or turn off the terrain details. makes it hard to plan routes if you can’t see the major roads at a distance
Works ok even if you don’t log in but the colours are not distinct enough, particularly the difference between the blue of normal water levels and the blue-green of low level flooding. I find them really hard to distinguish and I have no blue-green colour blindness. My husband who is slightly colour blind can’t see a difference at all.
