Fly Fishing Simulator HD

It’s really good but would be cool if u made another game were you can use lures for pike perch and stuff and have a wider variety of fish that we can fish without paying for and stuff like carp and catfish

This fly fishing sim is the best I love the graphics and physics and everything one of my favourite things is being able to create my own fly I’ve been playing this while waiting for the season to start again and I think that is one of the reasons why I enjoy it

This fly fishing simulation has amazing physics, the algorithm behind the movement of the line on the video backdrops is just stunning. The number of available rivers open the door to hours of fly fishing enjoyment. There is room for improvement, what would make it truly amazing are : - A better UX/UI as the interface can be a bit clunky, there is room for improvement here. - options to use cm instead of inches for those of us who use a different measurements (Europe in my case) - for those of us who buy the whole package could we have just one button to download everything or by sub packages please as it took me more than 100 clicks to download all of it. - solving the crashing bug (when pulling a fish) would be amazing as it can be a been of an immersion breaker. - an button to load a random river would be nice for those of us who bought the full package as it takes forever to scroll to the bottom of the list - when making a fly, it would be nice to have a visual next the name of the different materials it will be quicker to preview. - Also I am unsure how the landscape mode is set for the iPad in the app but the left side of the screen where the reel is and the hotspot section is also the same area where the iOS Notification Center can be triggered which is annoying. If the landscape mode was properly set the Notification Center should be pulled from the top when the app is opened, a fix would be appreciated as it interferes with the usability. Congratulations to the developer, fantastic simulation. Update: love the latest update with improved AI and fish fighting, 5 stars, amazing job! Update 28/05/2020, the updated algorithm when fighting a fish is fantastic, it feels very organic. Being a programmer and big fan of fishing gamesI know it’s one of the difficult part to get right and it’s very well executed here, thumbs up. Update 12/01/2021 Download section could do with some improvement. Download buttons sometime are not just responsive and for those of use who paid for all rivers it’s pretty much a full time job to download all of them :)

I’m an avid fly fisher and an app developer, so I know how much effort must have gone into this game and I have to say, after days of searching for an adequate fishing simulator for lockdown, I have found it. I had the old version but I wasn’t prepared to purchase new rivers and lakes and I eventually got bored of the free ones. I love the fact that in this new version you can tie flies and study insects. Most anglers will know that there is much more to fishing than just casting and reeling in, and this game certainly backs that up. The degree of professionalism is brilliant and I like how you have to actually work for your fish instead of just hoisting out of the water like in most fishing sims. Have only played on this for a few hours. The sense and feel in the game play is very much like the real thing. This is especially true when you cast and play a fish. The only one thing I can think would enhance play would be to have some vibration on your phone or iPad when a fish is on the line. I am no IT expert but I would have thought this might be an easy thing to add to enhance the in play enjoyment. Further to my last post above I have now found that my fish total lengths are not adding to my overall catch length and the total just remains the same which is really disappointing Madgie56

iPhone 5s had all rivers Ipswich updated now got none any help would be grateful

Paul, this is phenomenal. I’m an obsessive angler but know nothing about IT. Despite the latter, it’s obvious to me the thousands of hours of work and love you’ve put into your creation. I’ve done little else for days except go to the loo - I’ve had cauda equina/back surgery so can’t do the real thing for a bit. The BUT is the crashing issue. It’s like somebody sneaking up behind you with a pair of scissors and snipping your line. It actually ruins the game and makes me reluctant to keep playing. Excellent wee sim. Sounds and water effects are really nice. Fly selection grows as you fish, plus you can make your own creation and see how well (or not) it fishes. Only given 4 stars though as you can’t strip the line! Would be nice if you could to save you having to reel in and spool out line every cast. Makes me think that stripping the line isn’t included in the sim, but I do it anyway. Minor issue but would make the sim much better. Would also be nice if you could add some European rivers or lochs. I know you travel the states but you should pop over to Scotland for a few days and get some new footage. Lovely waters here 🙂 Other than that I love it. Had to give up fly fishing due to suffering from lateral epicondylitis (or tennis elbow as it’s better known) but this sim helps bring back good memories. Excellent work sir. Bring on Europe!

Great game had the first version, BIG let down as when hooked into certain fish app restarts or just stops

Great game because i am a fishing addict and even have my name in the record books but if you could ad in more rivers for free that would be amazing because when ever I try to get more rivers it just says " try later when there is more internet" so please could you change it please? 🎣🦈
