I prepaid for a bus ticket with the app. The driver asks me to scan the barcode on bus, the app closes itself while I’m scanning, and I get charged a second time through contactless. Driver says refund is not possible. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Finally an app that would enable foreigners to use otherwise confusing bus system. Except that they do not allow use of the system if you do not have a Finnish mobile number. Does not make any sense. If you manage to purchase a ticket, use is quite crippled: QR code that one is supposed to show to reader in a bus is tiny - using only 1/10 of the available space. I have yet to find a bus that would actually read the code. Luckily drivers know the situation and just let you pass as long as you seems to have the app open on your phone with some kind of QR code on it. Designers have also opted to add super annoying PIN code that is very often. This serves little purpose than to annoy the user.

You can only buy tickets. You can't track where to go as which bus to use as the name would suggest.

App was disgracefully useless when bus was out of schedule and during strike. When all bus services were stopped on Friday traffic planner continued showing all arrivals only showing small triangle near them, one usually shown during traffic jams in centre. Spotting "is there any route in service today departing from nearby stop was impossible ". Also it's very "smart" hiding departures that should've gone by schedule, but bus is late and gps tracker is shown at traffic on

Matkustin päiväksi Turkuun työhommien takia ja missasin 3 bussia, vaikka minun piti olla oikeilla pysäkeillä apin mukaan. Tähän appiin ei voi luottaa..

Mutta ei silti mikään kympin suoritus. Käytettävyydessä olisi paljon hiottavaa, ei jaksa laittaa kaikkea tähän. Mutta miksi perutuista vuoroista ei saa ilmoitusta ja palautteen laittaminen on tehty niin kömpelöksi että harva viitsii varmaan laittaa sitä. Toki osaavinkaan palvelumuotoilutiimi ei pysty poistamaan Fölin perusongelmaa eli epäluotettavuutta ellei joku ala huomioida aikatauluissa esimerkiksi säätä ja muuta liikennettä. Nyt reitit on laskettu jossain virtuaalitodellisuudessa ja siitä sitten maksava asiakas saa kärsiä nahoissaa.
