You should be able to change the follow up date in individual people. Not just a one time setting for all of them.

I use this app to help train new incoming employees and this has really helped to keep me organized. This helps me contact the trainees that I have personally trained, and follow up, asking them how they’re doing in their new environment, working without “training wheels”.
