Among all Saudi bank apps, Fransi’s app wins the prize for the worst app of all. That is not an easy feat to achieve. The app freezes every time I open it. So move along. Open an account with any other bank and get an app that works.

I've been with Alfransi for over a decade, enduring a rocky start with the app that eventually improved. But now, it's just terrible. I can't even access my account; every time I try to log in, it just keeps buffering endlessly, and after a few minutes, I get an error message. This has been going on for weeks, despite contacting the bank multiple times. Even worse, I'm currently abroad and I attempted several Apple Pay transactions, but they were declined. Thinking nothing of it, as it's a common occurrence with this bank, I usually receive a text immediately notifying me of the refunded amount, or I could login and see that the money is still there. However, this time, no refund was received even after weeks. Upon informing the bank, they instructed me to call, which I couldn't do. So, I arranged for my brother to visit a branch and inquire about the situation. Shockingly, the bank employee admitted the money wasn't there but couldn't provide any assistance. When my brother asked if the money was on hold, the response was simply that it wasn't; it had vanished inexplicably. This situation is utterly perplexing. He is the conversation with a bank employee that left us baffled: Bank Employee: "I can see that the money is not there, but I cannot help you with that." Brother: "Well, is the money on hold or something?" Bank Employee: "No, it’s not. It’s just not there anymore!" This response makes no sense to me. Despite my attempts to reach out via email and messages through social media accounts, asking for a clarification or at least a call on my non-Saudi number to resolve the issue, they haven't responded at all, their only response was call us, even after I informed them that I have no way to call, and asked them to call me instead. I'm at my wit's end, and once I'm back home, I'm filing a formal complaint with SAMA, let them deal with the bank, and get this sorted out. I am done dealing with this!! How can money just poof disappear, I even got a copy of my bank statement to see if the money is really gone, and the statement shows that they money is there, it doesn’t even show any of my declined transactions.

I keep getting an “Application defined or object defined error” whenever I try to transfer money to a local bank. PLEASE FIX ASAP

التطبيق ثقيل وبطيء في الانتقال وتنفيذ الاوامر يحتاج تطوير وايضا الخيارات محدوده ، في الحوالات وتعريف المستفيدين وكذلك في السداد ، كذلك يعلق ويطلع من التطبيق بعض الاحيان. لايوجد رابط للدخول للمحفظه كابيتال من التطبيق نرجوا الارتقاء بالخدمات الالكترونيه لتكون بنفس بعض المنافسين شكرا لكم

It’s unfortunate that a big bank can’t hire a team to work on a simple mobile application. Very slow and unresponsive. And the user interface looks like it was built 10 years ago.

I’ve been a fan of alfransi app before . It was horrible at the beginning and it got better. However , lately it gets worse with each update. Today I spent 30 minutes to do transactions. It kept giving me Errors and takes ages to load to the point I have to restart the app. If this continues I really might switch banks unfortunately.
