So IOS can generate background noises by itself. the only add-on of this app is bringing is a pseudo scientific sinus tone on top off it. No links to studies or researches just: frequency x Hz is for sleep and frequency y Hz is for study. And for this function you are asked 6,99 $ a week? I normally don't do this negative reviews but these subscription greed is taken out of control. Which weakly improvement can justify a subscription? BTW I just received this app as a promo for free, so most of the complain goes to the declared price strategy compared to the limited feature set.
Maybe I’ve missed something here but it appears that this app lets you select 3 tones, and then you select one and play it with or without a timer. That’s it. I can do that with a quick google search and a frequency generator app on this same phone for free. If it had anything else… binaural capabilities, isochronic capabilities, hemispheric sync, spatial placement controls… anything else, I’d have given a much higher rating. On the positive side, the app design and UI is lovely.
This app simply has the wrong number for every frequency - just check with a couple a free tone generators on line - if you could input the number on the app, you could match it with the web sites, but unlike the FREE generators this app’s frequencies are preset . I mean to put this app out there with wrong numbers, didja think no one would check? Could have been good, but it fails ridiculously badly when it gives you a number for a frequency, AND THE NUMBER IS WRONG, how could you put this out with such a glaring discrepancy? Oh well, back to YouTube- DONT BUY TILL THEY GET IT RIGHT
Awful app!!!!! No instructions at all!! Going to settings only allows you to change colors. Ridiculous!!! How do you choose which modes you want like sleep, focus, ect? This app is just the worse app!!!! I shouldn’t have to go to google to do a search on sound frequencies for different modes in order to use the app. Terrible design for the app. This isn’t worth 1 penny!!!! I got the lifetime version of this app for free through the Apps are Free app. So why do I only have the option for Rain and nothing else? Why can you only choose frequencies of none, mid and high? Why can’t you choose a frequency inbetween mid and high? You should be able to choose the exact number for frequency. I have the lifetime version, for free through apps are free app, yet my only option is Rain. That isn’t right!!!! Terrible app!!!!!
I can’t wait to try this out! Thank you for making the Lifetime Subscription available for free today through App Advice Daily.
I am a professional classical musician, and the Hz designations on this app are not even close to the pitches they claim to be- for instance, the 432 Hz setting resonates around what any trained musician would consider closer to a D than an A. Don’t bother.
Love the ease of use and how I can customize the frequencies for my needs.
This app says “7-day free trial, then $59.99/yr. No payment now!” I signed up for the free trial and was charged the full amount immediately. Total Scam! The app is not very good either. Incredibly basic.
If you try to select the 7 day free trial, it automatically charges your card instantly for an entire year. It just costed me $64.34 as soon as I confirmed the free trial. I wish it was possible to give negative stars.
