Friends & Dragons - Puzzle RPG

They keep adding “features” that make the game worse. It used to be that you could predict how the team would fight with math. Now they added critical attacks for all heroes and monsters and it’s not fun anymore. Your heroes can die even if you plan things right. This is not the game I decided to like. They need to stay true to the main principles of the game, not make it more like a random game of chance.

This game was top tier…until they went head first into a greedy pit. The games all about what they can put behind a paywall next. Its pretty disgusting. Come back in a year or two and see if anything is better or the game collapsed in On itself.

This is my first day playing and I like it. I’m going to play more tomorrow.

Game is fine so far. Slightly seems Pay to win. One big thing I wish they implement is being able to auto skip stages you’ve 3 starred already. And more stamina to play the game.

It’s a great game, a lot of fun, but every time comes the update, keep stuck all day, and it’s impossible enter the game, it’s very annoying thing

Maybe the best mobile game I’ve played in the last 10 years. There are around a dozen classes of characters and probably 2-3 dozen types if enemies. Every character and every enemy has strengths, weaknesses, and special abilities. The key is choosing the right team of characters to take into each puzzle (battle) to counter the enemies and complement your team’s abilities. The actual play is challenging and more interesting than most mobile games which just have you click buttons. You must drag characters around the play field on a timer to position them strategically take out enemies and potentially protect other teammates. Again great game. Try it and you won’t be disappointed!

World chat is friendly, at times funny, plenty of good feedback and discussion, I love the community here =) How you move heroes matters a great deal, as well as which heroes you invest in and how well they match the content you face. There are times you want diagonal attackers, times you want mages or warlocks or elementalists especially vs hordes of weaker enemies with potentially nasty status ailments. You almost always want healers, unless you can clear fast, take low damage, and have little chance of things going awry. Summons are very limited for free to play, there are occasionally good affordable deals (and many whaling deals too) for summons, gems, talent runes and the like. Co ops are a great way to get help with harder content from guild mates or world chat…..share to global at your own peril as it is a grab festival where people may well bring mismatched teams or fail to switch in time to join you, I do wish the devs would rework the co op system in that way, more daily co op energy, longer global co op cooldown so people may have to wait their turn to join, or being able to set a player level requirement, or maybe check when you mark “bring a healer” if the partner did or not. This game requires patience or your wallet, planning out moves or using strategic formations (especially in later heroics, like when you need to keep everyone healed with 2 healers and take damage every turn), you have plenty of time to learn simple moves and adjustments that can make such big differences in combat when you can move heroes to safety (especially VS lumbering enemies who attack before moving instead of after) or adjust your heroes (and maybe your co op partners) to take out either key target enemies or clear out the masses. Hopefully without leaving anyone squishy too exposed to danger. If you can enjoy those things, or are curious about the gameplay feel free to give this game a shot 🙂

I have been playing the game for two months now and it’s interesting. The challenge of making the best possible move in the allotted time is unique. The differing skills across the heroes adds to the challenge since you get to select which heroes to bring to each fight. I will say that the devs are living up to their goal of being very friendly to f2p players. The drawback to this, or perhaps it is because the is still expanding, is that features are constantly changing without warning. So if you’re f2p it should only affect your time and you can adjust to all of the changes as you go. If you spend, be aware that you will quite possibly not receive entirely what was expected. Update March2023: Still playing but I often wonder why. Regular changes and updates might seem like a good idea, indicating an engaged develop staff, but they rarely implement smoothly. If you play, be ready to encounter a steady stream of maintenance breaks and times where the game is just unplayable.

I’m going to keep this simple. It WOULD be a 5 star game and I don’t hand out 5 stars in reviews ever if it weren’t for 1 thing. This arena is the most stupid function of a video game I have ever played in my 45 years of playing video games. I don’t know what genius thought they were being brilliant designing it but it’s a complete failure. Ether completely overhaul the arena or just dump it period. It’s the only reason I haven’t spent decent money yet on this game and the only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars.
