FSB Mobile Money

This is by far the most enjoyable online/app banking system I have ever encountered.

I've been using this app for a handful of years. It has always been troublesome. Nearly every time I need to log in to check balances (which isn't often) it won't accept my password. After messing around for 15 minutes I am forced to call the bank to get it straightened out, and it always turns out to be a forced password reset (why can't the app just tell me to reset my password when necessary?). You'd better hope it's a week day when they decide you are going to be forced to set a new password! Now, in 2023, FaceID will not work with any new, up-to-date Apple devices. This means you need to manually enter your user ID & password when logging in, which isn't TOO bad...but you are then forced to text a verification code to your phone, enter it, and blah, blah, blah EVERY TIME YOU USE THE APP. I'm finished with FSB over this app. Today I'm opening an account with a local competitor in a hope that their app will make my banking life easier. Too bad.

It seems like every single time I attempt to access this app and see what is in my account there is something wrong, either I need to reset my password, or the app is unable to process my request at this time. This is getting old, I’m 3000 miles away from a bank, I don’t have the opportunity to run down to the bank. I understand it’s local and that’s why I have stayed for as long as I have, but I’m close to switching to a different bank, this is getting old

Don’t like paying $7.00 a month for checking account. As soon as I get my SS checks to new account I will be closing this account.

I understand it’s probably for security reasons. But the app is inconsistent and very difficult to get into. Passwords need changed all the time. Cannot be repeated. Must access from a regular computer. Etc. etc.

This app works great. I love the debit card controls and the power it gives me to suspend my card temporarily if I misplace it. I wish it would be specific when it’s asking for a password reset, rather then just locking me out.

Can’t update info. I apparently forgot my password. No way to correct that.

Why they switched to this version is beyond me. Claims of it being faster are false. Everything takes longer to load from sign in to switching accounts. Also, every time you want to sign in, you have to manually turn off the Face ID. If you don’t you won’t be able to sign in even after you put the password in. The developer is amateur at best

Activities such as mobile deposit take way too many clicks. Something that should be five clicks takes 20 clicks. Face ID seldom works. I get error messages about the photo of the check even though the photo looks perfect. Overall, this app is very cumbersome.

App continually returns to startup mode. The fingerprint feature is unavailable from time to time, and acts as though it hasn’t ever been established. Last app was better.
