Abandoned, bad design
App has not been updated in 5+ years, extremely unstable on new iOS versions. Also looks like there's no handler built in for when the service goes down (which happens constantly) so the app just crashes instead of handling the exception. The design is also abysmal, with parking garage capacity represented as an unexplained eight-increment meter despite the fact that the garages scan license plates to tell precisely how many cars are in the lot. Referencing local news articles, it's clear that this service was FSU's fix for commuters not being able to reliably find parking in a reasonable time. If the solution to dealing with people using lots for off-campus overflow and semi-permanent car storage, and to address how the demand for parking exceeds capacity at certain times of the day is to make information reliably available rather than instituting targeted parking restrictions or fees, or simply increasing the capacity of overnight parking, there's an expectation that the information will actually be made reliably available.
