Fantastic hi-res videos for riding

I have used this for 6 months and have been disappointed with most aspects of it. I just started a ride that was to be a beach ride in Cypress. The first 2/3 of the ride saw no ocean at all, and when the ocean was visible in the distance there was very limited interface with viewpoints, ride through of scenic beach accesses or vistas cruises. The app offers cyclists a Go Pro and a battery in exchange for filming 12 road rides. I am not sure what sort of talent one would expect to recruit with $600 of gear over 12 rides. The lack of skilled photography is evident and many of the rides I have seen on the app are boring and lack the type of visuals that people in this decade expect. This app will likely be left at the roadside by others who are focused on creating a more engaging and quality experience for users.

Really cool app in theory but I was unable to make it past 25 seconds of any ride as the app continuously crashed. Unable to download courses either. Save your money for Zwift instead.

You get two options: 1. Horrible viewing experience where you see a couple frames per second with garbled sound and absolutely cannot enjoy the ride 2. Zero effort tracking when this app tracks how far it rides on its own and not how far you ride which is absolutely useless Are you serious? I wouldn’t use this for free! 1. Make a hybrid mode where I can view the video at its natural rate but record ALL stats based on my effort 2. Rerecord videos in slow motion so that they can be slowed down without losing FPS The app is useless without these improvements.

Paired with a smart trainer FulGaz let’s you explore the world while improving your fitness. I actually look forward to my rides and the interesting places I’m going to visit. The latest update has significantly improved searching, storing and selecting new rides. For the time being, the experience is less about social riding and avatars and more about exploring new ride locations. Worth every penny for the subscription. Obviously, highly recommended.

Wanted more realistic scenery and RRF hence Fulgaz but the app crashes and fails even after the 5-10min. of downloading the rides. After 1-2 years on other apps this comeback resulted in poor , money wasted experience.

The rides themselves are fine. The user interface requires a LOT of work. It feels so much less refined than anything I’ve ever used before. I’m pretty disappointed. When you select view all or new rides, the filter options are. A-Z, date added, distance, elevation, toughness, duration… what about “location”? When trying to find rides In the map, you have to click on the dot - but instead of it showing quick details, the app has to “load” and then zoom in an animated depiction of the route. So then it takes 5-10 seconds for that to happen, meanwhile I just wanted to see the quick details like distance and elevation before moving onto the next route. It honestly adds so much extra time because it’s just so slow. On my PC, (a new dell xps 15) the program crashed twice, and I’m frozen in the settings menu unable to go back to the Home Screen. Further more, you can’t use keyboard keys to pause (at least they didn’t work for me) the program. Clicking the buttons barely worked. Honestly terrible. I decided to download the app on my iPad instead to see if it is any better. Yes it’s a big quicker but the same problems with mal selection and everything I previously mentioned. The video game play itself is good. I enjoyed the ride. Fix these bugs, allow remote control via a phone to start stop change views etc. make your in game buttons nicer. Filter by region, have quick preview for routes. I want to enjoy this so much more.

Not only does it work well, it reminds me of places I’ve been to in the past. If you can’t see all the rides, go to settings and clear the cache.

I’ve tried many virtual cycling app and this one is, by far, the worst in term of stability and connectivity! Crash often right in a middle of a ride... Avoid at all costs
