Recent update broke fast forward and audio. Fast forward does not work at all. Audio only works if race replay is playing from the start. If you pause and restart, audio does not work. If you change language, you must restart from the beginning to get any audio. There were significant problems with this app before the latest update, but now it is far worse. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it on my Apple TV, but this did not help. Looks like the Apple TV version of this app is no longer suited for purpose.

The app has been great until about a month ago when all languages ceased to function within the Apple TV app. Very dissatisfied with this aspect of the app. I can’t hear what’s going on at all during the races now. Please, please, please address this major issue. Thank you.

This app is almost unusable. Not only is the playback control confusing it also lags making it twice as frustrating. Videos default to ambient sound and now no sound at all! The only way I can use it is start play and don’t touch the remote or the sound disappears. And just trying to find the video you want is crazy! I give up.

Love the content, but the Apple TV app needs a lot of work. The ffwd is arduous at best/doesn’t function at worst; you can’t set a default language; the search is basically useless and the browsing and organization of content leaves a lot to be desired. I think cycling fans deserve better than the experience we’re given, and would love to see the devs fix this.

Put some time into fixing your Apple TV app. Can’t resume play, can’t fast forward or rewind, sound just stops at times and you have to reboot AppleTV to get the app to start working “correctly” again. Won’t keep subscription unless there are improvements. Shame as I enjoy watching the cycling.

There aren’t a lot of mainstream options for cycling coverage in the US. Peacock for the Tour and maybe the occasional Red BullTV for freestyle. GCN+ is about the only option for UCI and grand tours and it’s TERRIBLE. The audio is super glitchy - it’s never on by default for English commentary (even on Live Show events). You have to toggle the audio to English then fast-forward to turn on audio. It works about 50% of the time the first try. Most of the time it’s several attempts. The app itself times and completely and no controls at all work. You have to close the app and restart more times than not. A paid subscription app should not be this bad. The menus are a mess, almost every title’s thumbnail is difficult to read, and it runs SUPER slow behind schedule. I’ve always like the GCN YouTube content but the app itself is pure garbage. It’s been garbage for MANY updates. If it’s not updated extensively before 2024 I’m cancelling for good.

Myriad problems with this app on Apple TV. Current one is you are unable to fast forward or rewind any of the coverage (men/women/semi final/final - all of it) from Mt St Anne downhill. Usually have to airplay this app from iPad to my Apple TV. Given how much the subscription costs, it is not unreasonable to want both good content (which is there) and a functioning Apple TV app. Do better.

I’ve been a subscriber since the initial release, and the same issues have persisted. Pause, play, fast forward, rewind function are a mess. Completely useless. The only solution is to restart the app, and then lose your race progress most of the time. If I press pause, the event continues playing. Support? No. Efforts to remedy the problems? No. I see no effort being made to address the issues. Incompetent or lazy developers? Maybe. Please do better. Overall the race content is great for those of us in the US, but app functionality on Apple TV is terrible.
