Genisys Card Controls

It’s nice to have this feature. Have to be careful, too many thieves out there.

The only problem is that it use to have it own login that you could use Face ID and now you need to login through the genisys bank account.

Very handy when you have suspicious authentications

Would you please finally fix this app! I can’t count how many times I’ve had to add, re-add, and re-add, and re-add, and re-add, and re-add, and re-add, and re-add, my card information, just to find the next time I open the app, that my card has been deleted AGAIN!!! The security features this app offers are great. I like having my card usage tethered to only being authorized when my phone is in the vicinity. But this security feature only lasts until my card is MYSTERIOUSLY DELETED AGAIN!!!

It doesn’t make sense to have a separate app to control your card. And not to mention it’s not all that easy to set it up. I’ve tried everything and I still can’t get it do what it’s supposed to do. Most other banking institutions have the card control option incorporated in the app itself. This is a total waste of time and it’s ridiculous! The app developer need to take note from other banking institutions and step their game up! This app is not really even worth one star. Smh

To me, it makes no sense to have separate apps for card control and money transfer. If you just integrated them into one, you’d have a LOT less problems. Also, my Card Control app keeps unlinking from my banking app nearly EVERY time I open it. I keep having to re link it and set passcodes and it’s incredibly annoying. Having one interface for both functions would solve this problem.

I have been waiting forever for this option. All my other cards have had this option for awhile and it’s nice to see instant notifications on purchases and the ability to turn off my card. I will say that separate apps makes no sense and this option should have been implemented into the existing app. The Face ID option and then having to entered a passcode is also annoying. I’d rather not have to enter a passcode because that defeats the purpose of Face ID.

I was super excited when they decided to update their mobile app. The new app is great! But it’s totally unnecessary to have 2 apps One for card controls and one for everything else. Also the card control app keeps unlinking from the banking one and keeps force closing itself. Roll it all into one
