German Dictionary & Thesaurus

It has helped me improve my vocabulary as I daily read scripture auf Deutsch. I appreciate words being used in multiple sentences.

As all other reviews have stated, this app is exhaustive and very helpful. The examples given are current and applicable. The resources cited are from the best dictionaries and German lexicons. Thank you!

There are ways it could be better, but then any app could be improved upon. What I need personally is there: gender of nouns, verb conjugations, pronunciation, examples, etc. After a couple years of using it constantly, it has really proven to be irreplaceable.

Indispensable, I could not read "Cicero" from cover to cover with out it.

It is great when it works, unfortunately it freezes sometimes and sometimes doesn’t respond to search command.

Cannot translate the term “wheelchair accessible” and also cannot translate “wheelchair.” Bye, Farlex.

This is one of two indispensable German dictionary apps I use. Definitely the most complete . This is particularly helpful in giving examples of the words in use. There is a full page of different uses and permutations (with prepositions and pronouns) in sentences to help u der stand and remember. Also it is the only one I have seen that shows the word roots. These are great building blocks!

This app has come in handy for just about all homework assignments in advanced class. Verb conjugations, regular/irregular, adjectives, everything. Yes it’s helped with answers but more than anything it reinforces and furthers my growth, understanding and appreciation of the language. Thanks!
