GET Mobile ID

I really wanted this to be the next step in getting rid of my physical wallet. I’ve only ever been able to use it once after having it for two years and it was a very clunky experience. I get that it’s not actually the apps fault and it works as advertised. The Utah website clearly states where and when this mobile ID is accepted. With that in mind the places that were supposed to be ready to accept it don’t always accept it. The one time I used it was at TSA pre check line and they were accepting the different types of mobile IDs including Apple IDs for the states that have it. And all they had to do was open the wallet by double clicking selecting the ID and tapping it on the machine. I could help but be jealous as I had to find the app figure out how much details I needed to share and then activate the QR code. Placing the phone so the device could scan it was an ordeal as the screen kept going dark and you had to place it just right. I just feel like this app is going in the wrong direction and I finally just uninstalled it and canceled my subscription to signify my decent from this type of mobile ID. I still have it three stars because it does what it says it does.

they just need to work with apple and get the id straight into apple wallet like they said they would for many years now.

Nobody can actually scan this to verify your identity and nowhere that requires an ID knows what this app is.

It’s a good tool but the fact that in any place is accepted is really annoying.

Tried using at liquor store. Was told by clerk they no longer accept using this and it has been discontinued for a couple months now. Why hasn’t this been removed from the App Store?

As the title states, it won’t allow any license from any state other than Utah.

Apple wallet has supported digital ID’s since 2021 but this app refuses to add Apple wallet support. It’s ridiculous they won’t add such a simple feature that could make accessing the ID so much easier

Says it’s only accepting Utah driver’s licenses. Trash

Got a new iPhone 16 and cannot sign in. I already have a paid membership. It wants me to sign up again.
