Not good

Not user friendly Complicated and difficult to add or review gifts purchases without jumping from a page to another

Clunky

I love the concept of this app, but it’s so slow and full of glitches that it makes it almost unusable. It takes forever for it to retrieve information from a url and sometimes, it took me several tries to get something saved! Also, if you enter an item ma tally, you can’t add a price!

Best App for sharing lists

This app works great for creating & sharing wish lists. We love the feature that allows you to mark items as purchased for others, without them seeing that it’s been bought - perfect for birthdays, Christmas or any gift-giving season. You can also suggest items for other people’s lists, so if you think of a gift idea for them, it is shared with their other subscribers. Perfect for sharing lists with grandparents, other family members & whoever you want!

An excellent app!

I highly recommend this app … it takes all the guesswork out of choosing a gift for friends and family.

Great app

My kids and I have used this for two years for Christmas presents. Makes a great way to know what kids want and how to know that someone else has purchased it for them. The person receiving doesn’t know what had been bought so it’s still a surprise for them.

Great…except for one thing

This app is great and was very easy to use for all family members involved in our Secret Santa. The one thing missing is the ability to draw multiple group members per person. Last year we used another site that allowed us to draw 2 names each. With Giftster we had to create two separate groups and then do a draw for each group. This resulted in multiple group members getting the same person twice, which never happened with the other site. Please fix this and Giftster will be the best ever.

Bugs

Nice app but has bugs. Would be nice if you could add photos from your gallery and when you do a web search for photos it won’t let you scroll. Fix the photo thing And I’d give it 5 stars.

Perfect for families

This app has been used by our family for many years now. It takes the guesswork out of what to buy and the purchaser knows their money is being spent on something truly wanted. The beauty is that the recipient has no idea what has or hasn’t been purchased but everyone else does. No more duplicate gifts! And lists can be added to multiple DIFFERENT groups so even if a member from another family buys a gift, other groups will see that the item has already been purchased. We have been sharing this with at least 5 different family groups and it sure makes a big difference!

Working for years

My family and in laws have been using this app for at least 5 years now. It has been super easy to use and they have recently been upgrading some features. It is used for birthdays and Christmas and even baby gift lists. I like you can add pictures and web links quite easily to the items! You can make shopping lists an track what you have bought, what you have received, and much more!

Takes the stress out of buying gifts

The app is very basic, but do not need fancy to get the job done! This has made buying gifts so much simpler! I was tired of sharing wish lists and managing manually between family members. I figured “there’s got to be an app for this!” - and there is!! This simplifies the whole process and everyone in our family set up their lists. I was a bit skeptical at frost - I was worried it would be easy to see who got what. It isn’t! Any purchases are hidden to the person who created their own list. We just started using it this year and plan to use year round and for many years! Please keep supporting this app so we can keep using!! Thank you!
