For my first time using a rental car, GoCar was the right choice due to its affordable prices. However, the car I rented wasn't very clean and had a strong smell of cigarettes. I recommend asking customers to wash the car before returning it and to avoid smoking inside the vehicle. Four star because of the cleanliness. Other than that all good. Thank you.

Rented a Honda City for a week. The fuel tank was only 22% full when I picked up the car, but I was asked to return it with over 50% fuel. This policy is unfair—fuel levels should be consistent at pick-up and return. Hope this process can be improved.

If you late return they will straight report to police. I had experience it when i late return for 37min. So you dont want that happen to you. Never use gocar

The car wc679t at dlatour condominium, is full of coakroaches, when I made a report Lisha as costumer service told me to take a video while I’ve stated to her that I can’t do that because I even need to ask someone to drive the car back, we almost got accident because of it and I don’t want to go anywhere nearby the car. And she just telling me that next time I shouldn’t ask someone to drive the car under my name without even considering about the coakroaches in it.

Generally, in Cyberjaya there are only a few cars available. First time rented Nissan X-Trail - it was in good shape and condition, but is not available anymore. Next two bookings were Honda City and Proton Saga. The cars we’re in poor condition and dirty inside. Last booking (Proton Saga QTS8789) was “exceptional”. I came to the designated place and couldn’t find the car, because the previous driver left it in wrong place. Lost time and money for taxi to get to the car. GoCar can reimburse either taxi costs OR lost time. Which is definitely unfair. The only thing the customer support can offer is their apologies.

Compared to their competitors, their customer service is very slow. If you do decide to cancel your booking they’ll only do it for their own points within the app. Would not recommend for car rental.
