Golden 1 Mobile

App never works, can't handle a VPN, always under maintenance, never remembers FaceID and now says my device is banned for security issues. Absolute joke of an app from an otherwise amazing financial institution. Can't deal with not being able to see my money when I need to and am away from my laptop or PC so Navy Federal Credit Union is the best option for me.

What does that even mean? My app is up to date and iPhone is running on the most current update. Why did it all of a sudden become incompatible?

The app has always worked great most of the time. But for the last month, it has been completely logging me out of the app and resetting my Face ID and I have to keep putting in my password and re-enabling Face ID. Now another issue I have been having I will try to login and it will tell me the device or application has violated security policies and I am unable to log into my account and I have to uninstall the app and then reinstall the app to be able to log into my account.

Despite having a lot of accounts, money market etc I have to find a different freaking solution having to buy a new iPhone constantly in order to use this app is insane not happy about this at all and I can afford to buy a new phone whenever I want to choose not to. I don’t like being forced into a corner to use my mobile app make it available find other security fixes it would make sense for different iOS users. One-size-fits-all is not gonna be helpful at a credit union with a diversity of patrons from a wide variety of Socio economic situations.

The ease of accomplishing the action with nowhere to exit/end the action!

I’ve been a member for over 20 years and I love Golden 1. It’s definitely disappointing that their mobile banking app is so frequently unusable. Beyond the frequent work that requires the app to be unavailable for maintenance, the app frequently crashes, is unable to grant account access with correct credentials, and necessitates constant credential changes if accessed from more than one device, as is common when needing to access a joint banking account. Notifications are generally reliable and usually comply with the settings selected once you’ve logged in, though not always. The app itself is relatively basic, with many options that are just hyperlink redirects to the Golden 1 website. But the constant challenges with accessing basic account information through the app is not at all worth the trouble.

Golden 1 is an excellent choice for banking. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to open a new account.

The app constantly crashes, is slow, requires password entry and turning face ID on (every day lately) Needs significant work. And when you click the “App Support” link in the store it takes you to a 404 link. Really shows how little they care about customer service

“App has violated security”? Why can’t I access my account!

App isn’t working it continues to say that the app has violated terms and cannot be used. I have to continue downloading it and deleting it. Please work on it.
