Gopuff - Grocery Delivery

I have used Gopuff ever since it’s been released. Along side being a FAM member. I cannot say the app is not good and convenient. However if something goes wrong; such as missing or damaged items, it’s impossible to reach any conclusion. For example: I ordered over £45 worth of bbq food. Upon delivery the driver had notified me that something had burst in the bag (soda). He was kind enough to re-bag it but I later found out the other, soaked bag, along with the burst item, was left on my drive. My food items were drenched which left them spoiled. When contacting customer support I was advised I was not eligible for a refund and they didn’t even acknowledge what the driver had done. Just that I cannot be refunded due to there customer support being down. It’s not the items to be honest, it’s the principle and the aftercare was appalling. For an app I used for years, I’m saddened to have to delete it after this experience.

waited more than 1h for my “instant delivery” and it eventually never came. no customer support response either avoid avoid avoid

Absolutley awful customer service. Placed first order with no issues. Second order for some reason had a temporary hold on my account, this was removed. The third order the same thing happened. I contacted support they said that they had put a permanent ban on my account. No explanation as to why. Contacted UK support was told someone would contact me and they never did. Horrendous experience, avoid at all costs. It’s a shame getir no longer operate in the UK they were brilliant. These folks at Gopuff are rubbish.

Just like to turn round and say Gopuff is amazing and Is there if you forgot something from your shopping or if you’re about to run out and can’t get out, please give them a try guys they are absolutely brilliant

Regularly enough they’ll ’under bag’ wine/spirits and the drivers often break bottles from the curb to the doorstep, okay, so you get the broken items on a re-delivery? NO, you don’t. You have to jump through hoops to get your own money back, you cannot rely on the driver to confirm the breakages and refund/re-deliver. How this is not illegal is beyond me, you buy something and they know you haven’t received it but they keep your money - bonkers.

Now that many of the home delivery services have gone to the wall, I’ve tried GoPuff. They’re good. There is a delivery charge unless you subscribe which may be useful if you use it a lot? The tip system seems to start at £7.05 which seems a bit excessive on top of the delivery? Everything arrived just as advertised within an hour. I won’t use it all the time but it’s a good choice if you don’t want to go out and it’s raining……..

So easy to order . It came super fast . All good picked was fresh . And good dates on them .

Almost always just days from expiration (including on long life products). Not uncommonly already mouldy/rotten. THE MOST annoying and time consuming customer service setup to get refunded so they get away with it. Used to be the best. Now the absolute worst

It started well and quickly went downhill. I ordered sweetcorn minicobs. They arrived still frozen. I only discovered they had gone bad after taking a bite and spat it out immediately. The corn had gone off. I complained through the help button on the app and they didn’t bother to reply. I won’t be ordering again
