Used to love this app, using it for 8 years now. But you limited the functionality of the app last year and now it is painful to use! I used to be able to see my all time PBs but now only get it per quarter??? But the main thing is the timer. I used to love being able to set the different timers for isolations and compounds but now we are limited to 2 mins. Not a great look for your loyal users!
It’s a good app but it keeps crashing and won’t open so I’m sometimes just left there have to guess what I have to do and the weight it needs a lot of improvements
Pros: The free version of this app is very useful. It has a nice interface, a huge database of exercises to track, it’s straightforward to create custom workouts, and generally makes tracking your workouts very easy. If you don’t need advanced features, this is a great option. Cons: Tracking lifts over time (data graphs, etc) requires a premium subscription which is around $55 per year. That’s way overpriced for an app in my opinion. Another issue is that there are no guides on how to do the exercises, so it may not be suitable for beginners who are still learning how to use gym equipment.
Constantly Crashes

I have used this app for years and in general I like it a lot. One of the features I grew comfortable with is that it allowed you to input the location (the gym) where you did your workout. This feature is still there in theory but in practice it no longer works. Perhaps this doesn’t matter to many but I like to keep track of as many elements of my workouts as possible.
Nice app with its own method of input the data. I love that this app actually has RPE and other useful features (plate calculator, muscle assessments, etc). Having an Apple Watch companion app is also icing on the cake!
Rarely do you have an app that changes the game. Can say this app has organized my workouts in a way I never could have myself. Can’t imagine my workouts without it. They have always offered their service for free and consistently make positive improvements to the app. Deserves the tricks I’m doing on it 💯
I never write app reviews but I have to rave about Gravitus- my only regret is not getting it sooner. You get so much data and insight from your lifts, allowing you to track progressive overload and challenge yourself to continuously add weight/reps. I feel like I’m getting so much more from my workouts, and this app is going to blow up my gains in an extraordinary way!
