Be carefull with this company! Me and I take it many many others with me bought the pro version some time ago. There was a free version with adds and at a fixed price one could upgrade to the proversion ( without adds). I bought the pro version because I liked the app and wanted to get rid of the irritating adds and support the development op the software. A little later the company started a subscription system this allows the use of the app without the irritating adds. Guess? All customers who supported the development of the program by buying the proversion at a fixed price are now getting their adds back! Wasnt that what we paid for? Contacting customer service learns the following: there is a new owner who has decided this, and yes it unfair but there is nothing they can do then advice to start paying the subscription fee every month! Gangsters! Be carefull Buying this product. It wouldnt surprise me if they double the subscription fee after you comfortable using the app for a few weeks!

Other reviewers get ads on this ap, fortunately I don't because I would complain! I love it! I have a defined list for each shop I go to, I spend a minimal time shopping and I'm much more likely to avoid the "extra" stuff that creep into the trolley! Great ap!

Sadly one now has to pay a subscription fee - after having paid for the app previously- only to have ads back! This is sad and reeks of unethical practices!

• NOW: Avoid this app! • PREVIOUSLY (before they brought the ads back and started charging subscriptions from people who have already paid for the app): I have been using this app for the past year after having tested numerous shopping list apps. I looked for something as close as possible to HandyShopper that I used on my Palm Tungsten for many years. Grocery Gadget comes the closest. It takes a while to get to grips with the program, but once you've set it up, it is very useful. Suggestion to app developer: Back-up needs the ability to allow the App to overwrite the Group during synchronization (I am a single user and don't want the items that I've removed from my iPhone master list to be put back by the desktop list). Otherwise it's brilliant!

A great app for making sure you collectively manage your shopping list as a couple!

I hate bits of paper. I can never find them in my handbag when I'm shopping. But I can always find my phone! I'm not a fan of typing into my phone - too fiddly, but creating a shopping list on my iPad, and then seeing it on my iPhone whilst going round the shops is a satisfying way of not wasting paper. I had a problem with the free version, emailed Pingwell via their website and got a response from Anatoliy, (one of the founders) within minutes. They are waiting for mother Apple to permit the upload of the fixed free version, but he assured me the paid-for version works perfectly (and I was getting mildly annoyed about the ads) so I bit the bullet and paid the price of a small paper notebook for the pro version. Works like a dream. Thanks, Pingwell!

It really is a great app, but it needs a redesign for iOS 7, so that it can be more user friendly and more involving because the switches at the top are a bit weird.

This app is amazing but still needs allot of work , it can be the way we shop in future , but not at the moment

Made my shopping trip a lot more organized and quicker. Syncs with wife's phone so we can do each other shopping when we don't have time to do it ourselves. Use it at work to compile shopping lists for various projects and departments.
