Guardian Protection

The Guardian Protection app and service are garbage. The App is visually appealing, but that’s where the positives end. Opening options on the app menus really get you nowhere except frustrated. Something as simple as changing Wi-Fi routers is way overly complicated to navigate to the multiple windows which lead you to options that you don’t allow you to edit. Then when you call customer service. You get zero help which forces you to open a ticket and then you have to wait. System is garbage. Luckily I’ve never had to test out their emergency response. I can’t imagine it’s any better.

I absolutely hate the thermostat setting routine. I find it very difficult to get the temperature set at different times the way I want it to automatically be. I hate the sliding scale. I wish it was just times that I could schedule it specifically.

I wasn’t told that my outside cameras needed SD cards to record continuously

Since moving into our brand new house in mid summer 2024 and Arranging for Guardian to set up their personal security of our house and our 1.4 acre lot along with all the cameras and other security products - it has given us piece of mind and confidence in our personal security - Thank you Guardian for 24/7 security!

We have to constantly tap on the temperature to get it to move usually an average of three taps before it will adjust 1°

Before ios18 upgrade the app had a widget that I used all the time. Now it does not after ios18 upgrade very disappointing.

I have smart arming. I also have a dog I let into the yard at night sometimes. Can you tell me why this app tells me my system is “disarmed” and then I open the door to an extremely loud alarm? Why can’t you accurately tell me alarm status?

Guardian is a good system. I’m still learning all the ins and outs, but it’s fun to be able to use the cameras and see what’s going on outside. I wish I had gotten a few more cameras. I need to review more videos. Don’t trip the alarm or you will have noise.

I’ve used this app for almost 5 years and the glitches are horrible! Also so slow no matter what internet speed I have. And the app says my login in incorrect when I can log in on the web.
