What kind of company will make such stupid app with such stupid service, do you even know how to write code?

I just don’t understand why we need to use this stupid app to turn on the aircon. It breaks down regularly and dose not even have as much function as the normal remote control. I’ve spent so many nights without aircon just because I couldn’t turn it on……

HOW CAN YOU RAISE THE HALL RENT AND THEN HAVE AIRCON THAT IS NOT FUNCTIONING HALF THE TIME BECAUSE THIS APP’S SERVER IS DOWN?! HOW CAN THIS B ALLOW ?!?! not only are we suffering from inflation, we are suffering from the HEAT. IT IS SO HOT IN JURONG WE ARE SURROUNDED BY FACTORIES. someone please rescue me and us all from this late-stage capitalism hellhole. bring back the aircon card… it was a bit sian to have to go down to top it up BUT AT LEAST THE SYSTEM ALWAYS WORKED. school is already breaking me down and now I am lying here in my sweat at 3am unable to sleep because it is so hot and this is my last straw. i m so angry and defeated. PLS WAKE UP UR IDEA @ “Hall Aircon” APP AND NTU HALL OFFICE. PLS WAKE UP UR IDEA RIGHT THIS SECOND. WANT TO MAKE APP THEN MAKE PROPERLY WALAO. WANT TO CHANGE SYSTEM THEN MAKE SURE IT CAN WORK LAH. WHY MUST DO TIS KIND OF HALF PAST SIX JOB THEN MAKE EVERYONE SUFFERRRRRRR.

Another smart campus move from NTU? The app limits your temperature, take away timer function and often has bugs. Sometime it can’t turn on and off for hours. The app have difficulties adjusting the fan speed. Is this app designed to scam our money? Yes. It is

it says offline and i cant turn the aircon on when i just want to sleep???????

so you create an app to control the AC, and instead of leveraging all the potential functionality by allowing an external app control over the unit you somehow reduce the functionality, making it needlessly unreliable when it goes offline for hours on end for literally zero benefit. Maybe the purpose was to try and avoid people from hacking to get free AC, but at this rate with how broken the system is while I was willing to pay for credit before I think I might just hack your system anyways, so good job
