HDMI Monitor - Vidzik

I downloaded this to try with my Switch to give me a larger screen. However you don’t even get chance to play… had game ready it comes onto iPad gets a few seconds in and the ad comes up for capture pro paid version clicks it off to continue with game it goes back to page showing how to connect and tells you to connect again..starts it again to continue …literally fondly get to place 2 pieces (of a puzzzle) ..ad come up again….clicks it off to continue . Back to page to connect…. So doesn’t actually work as a free version….deleted…

Had trouble connecting my device so I headed over using their online support. They were quick to respond and very informative on how i can troubleshoot the issue I was facing. Highly recommend!

It works and I love it but there is too much latency to be able to play properly on console. I know it's not the capture card as I use it on my ipad with another app and it works flawlessly. Is there any way to fix this ? Also what does the Pro version gives access to exactly ?

This app does one thing and it does it flawlessly… if you want to turn your iPad into a video monitor this does the job no questions asked… just plug in a USB-C video capture adapter, switch on your device and it appears instantly on screen, no lag or latency (if you get any latency it’s likely down to you video capture card, not this app) Like most if not all capture adapters, mine draws power off the USB-C port, so to get around this I also used a mini USB-C hub, that has power pass through, then plugged my video capture adapter into that, and it also worked flawlessly plus kept my iPad Pro fully charged (even worked when using a powerbank plugged into the hub!) Yes it would be cool to have some additional features, such as recording, screen flip / mirror etc but those could be a paid upgrade or pro feature set, but as a super simple and elegant app that just get out of the way, this is fantastic, download it and give it a go, you’ve nothing to lose!

Thought I would try it out for nominal fee. Didn’t really need it and then forgot about it….. 9 weeks later I discovered $8.47 weekly fee in Apple’s subscription corner of the world. Never signed up for weekly! All subscriptions in apple have same name so thought it was other apps. Yikes!!

This does not work on either my M1 Max McBook Pro or my 5th Gen iPad Pro. I just get a black screen on both. I am using a UGreen HDMI Capture dongle. How can I receive a refund?

Does not work on the Mac air want my money back.
