Hello Chalk

Great, love the sound effect!

With something like a chalkboard, the little touches can be everything, and out of the chalkboard apps out there, this is the only one that feels like a chalkboard. Non-solid chalk marks, chalk-dust-y background available, sounds with each stroke. Those three things are all I ask out of a chalkboard, and all the others are missing at least one of the three.

I am changing my review.... this developer has not did any updates at all in 2 years. That is really disappointing cause I paid for all of the developers app and I am concerned that I will lose them in the future. Especially if the iOS version starts to be to advance for the app. I hope that the developer will keep all of the art apps working in the future. I have lost so many cause the developer just stops caring about there app.

This app is almost there. The biggest downfall is the goofy user interface and the ugly color palette that remains in full view when using the chalkboard. Interestingly, it becomes transparent when writing which is the way it should look under normal conditions. It really destroys the immersive feel of the chalkboard. Additionally, although the colors are very chalk-like and realistic, they are very subdued. it would be nice to have a few brighter colors available. Super ugly icon I hide in a folder.

Perfect app

I love the sounds of the chalk, brings me back to childhood. One issue : I wish the control tab on the screen of the iPad were smaller.

A lot of fun to use

I upgraded from the free version, but did not receive any more colors. My version does not look like those pictured, with a spectrum of colors. Very disappointed. Wasted $3.99
