This app would be fine if it actually worked. Has gone downhill over the years, and significantly worse with iOS 18. - Frequently fails to load pages (even when they’re visible in preview/ thumbnails) - Says no internet connection even when internet is fine - If you try to download the edition for offline reading, the button has to be pressed over 20 times because it either opens the newspaper or does nothing instead - When scrolling through the thumbnails, they disappear the second you take your finger off the screen, therefore literally impossible to skip to future pages - The current day’s paper often doesn’t load at all Please fix urgently!!! These errors make the paper unreadable frequently, and a waste of money. Considering cancelling my subscription out of frustration.

The crossword text is so small it can hardly be read. The clue function on the crossword does not keep the clue visible when changing words Sudoku undo function and operation is terrible with text size jumping into a size that is so large it’s unreadable on an iPad. The check function has to be searched for rather than being visible all the time Why the heck did you change to these disfunctional current items?? Did your contract run out and wanted a cheaper one?

Yet another login failure for no reason, surely an organisation as big as News Corporation could hire someone who can make this app work consistently

This app is almost as frustrating as MyGov! When you select View All Pages, it will revert continuously, and it is difficult to even bring up the View All Pages section; you have to actually manipulate the screen to do so. Come on HS, you can do a lot better!!!

Jus getting my weekly exercise by deleting app and reinstalling in the vain hope it might restore the ability to download the the updates instead of something saying sorry we can’t do that now, retry with this arrow which doesn’t work paper. Not that I expect anyone from the HS IT team to look at any reviews

All News Ltd newspaper apps are so badly written. They chew up all of an iPads battery if left open. Even with background app refresh turned off your device will be dead by the end of the day. Useless technology.

Battery usage very high when iPad not in use. Compared with other apps. Have to keep shutting down app once used to prevent draining battery. iOS 17.6.1

Over a month ago I informed HS of need for a fix for iOs18. The quick cross word STILL not working.

Since the last update, I have been unable to view Top Stories on the app on iPad or iPhone! I receive a notification but when I click on it, it says unable to load stories.
