The OFFICIAL ABRSM Flute Practice Partner is a simple way to make practising pieces for
your exams more musical, enjoyable and fun.
Now featuring duo pieces from the NEW 2026 ABRSM Flute Exam Pieces books for Grades 1-7!
Use Flute Practice Partner to practise with the piano accompaniment, the flute part in isolation, or the duo ensemble recording. The app will help you to:

It used to be good, now it is outdated
Hiarcs used to be my favorite engine in 2008, however, as many other engines such as Junior, Fritz and Shredder, lost the races against the new ones. The engine is real stron for the common average player, but it is slow for analysis. The Author seems to have stopped of working in engine. For UI and the interface, it is also outdated and lacking essential functionalities like the take back button. It also does not let to add multi-thread or to increase the hast tables size. It is not Syzygy tablebases what is definitely a major issue. Still it can give a challenging game. Needs an update and customer care touch.

Only thing I would suggest is to add a random feature for picking what side you want to pkay
Best chess app I've seen
I use the updated iOS 7 version on my iphone 4 and it's great for storing games and emailing them to people. It's also helpful to practice against the computer who I've only beaten once and drawn a handful of times. I don't use any other app as often as hiarcs. It's awesome.

One of the features I love is the recommended move because it allows you to see what the computer might do in a given situation and I find it to be a great teacher!

Very adaptive skill levels, makes for always having a good game. Engine is very strong as well, very high elo for a mobile engine
