hide.me VPN supports ipv6 and I am experiencing zero connectivity issues unlike every previous VPN provider I’ve used which is the apparent top 5. Nord, express, cyber ghost, I just switched to hide.me VPN from a multi year Surfshark membership I still have 27 months left but it doesn’t work on ipv6. LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, friends and foes, WE HAVE A NEW KING in Canada and that’s hide.me VPN. The UI is well designed kudos to the developers they thought of everything in the development of this VPN. Tones of features and functions that definitely makes me feel safe online and confirms I made the right choice switching. It’s affordable at 12.99 a month plus tax (in Canada) and you can buy a year at discounted rates. I’m impressed. Great job developers!!!

I upgraded to Pro after 6 or 7 weeks testing the free version. Price wise, I have seen perhaps 2 other VPN services (with respective offers/sales) that came close to matching money for value. There are plenty enough locations to choose from, with adequate speeds - provided one has a decent high-speed internet service. There have been some hickups (buffering etc) when streaming anything above 1080p HD, which usually get solved by selecting a different country on the Streaming service of hide.me. A couple of the USA locations were appropriately removed, as they did not measure up to strict quality standards, maintained by the company. In addition, several new international locations have been added, including USA and Canada. I have only used free-limited locations or trial version VPN, no longer than 6 months. My reivew reflects my level of satisfaction with the service. It may have been a 4 star review, had I written it in 2021, but I noticed enough improvements, worth of that additional star.

I have been using for a few months now. It is really fast and support is really quick; I had some questions on safeguard regarding parental control. They responded to my question and took the opportunity to fine tuned the settings to improve the feature. Best VPN I have tried. I highly recommend :)

Tried the free version. Install simple enough. Pressed “Enable VPN”. Nothing happens. Under “Connect Time”, message is “VPN Disabled”. No explanation, no suggestions. Tried changing connection countries, but same result. Cannot see why the paid version would work any better than this totally useless app. Uninstalling now. Hope you have better luck than me. It does seem to work for some, but the iPhone implementation didn’t work for me.

I used this VPN for less than a day and got locked out of a few of my accounts. Later i found out I have been tagged as logging in from sanctioned countries although the app showed I was connected from Canada. Please save yourself the headache and DO NOT use sketchy VPNs like this.

But now they’re trying to get people to subscribe by making you wait 15 days to renew the free version. Once I’m able to renew I’ll only be using it for Banking & nothing else. Would have previously given it 5 stars.

Basic in options when using the free version (streaming or more IPs within Countries would be nice but it’s whatever) and sometimes I when connect using Siri it doesn’t actually connect, but, rather simply opens the app which can lead to confusion and become extremely problematic…

I have had contast issues and wasted hours of my time iwth tech support who can't resolve my issue of no connectivity.
