Wasted hours of my life, trying to get this app to work with my condor. Spent good $$ on the product, expect better
Will not connect to a device, no matter what I try. Very very disappointing
App works fine on iPhone 14 Pro running iOS 18.2 beta 3. The trick is to turn off your mobile data BEFORE connecting to the scope through the app. I also have no problems connecting to my iPad Pro.
It did not connect to my Condor CH25L even though I am connected to the hotspot of the device. Useless app.
New 4K Alpex scope and despite being connected to the hotspot wifi the app won’t pick up the scope. Spent about 2 hrs so far, still not solved. Maybe a new bug?
After 3hrs of trying everything to connect my Stellar scope to the app, I gave up. I used a PC to update firmware, deleted the app and reinstalled it, logged in again, then tried to connect for over 90 minutes, and not once would the app pick up the scope despite my phone being connected to it. I cannot believe a company that makes such high quality thermal products, would put their name to such a terrible app. It really is a disappointment, this should be a simple process.
Constantly getting failed downloads through the dreaded network error. Followed all the steps as instructed and still failing.
The app simply won’t recognise device (Condor) on the app despite showing it’s connected through my phone and following all the instructions. Deleted and reinstalled - same problem over and over again. Emailed via their app - no response. Coming from previously using Pulsar devices and their stream vision app - this one by Hikmicro is a total joke.
The device itself is great but the app is utterly useless. It disconnects the device from your phone at random, cancels updates at random and provides poor streaming at times. Whoever thought it was a good idea to use wifi instead of Bluetooth to connect the monocular to a mobile device had rocks in their head. The app needs major updates and revision
