Hipcamp: Camping, RVs & Cabins

Helped us discover places nearby that we never knew existed. Easy to navigate and provides all the information needed to prepare for our getaways.

Two campsites with enough room to spread out. Very handy for visiting the area. Redondo beach is a short walk away. Shared picnic table and fire pit with firewood. Nestled in a green belt with level area of gravel to park on. Porta potty was quite clean. Just off the highway, but the sound is not loud or bothersome and near silent at night. The horse stables next door are close but not too close. Their rooster topped off the scene with his occasional crowing. Birds of many feather frequent the brush and keep watch from the trees singing as they hunt and peck.

I usually don’t leave reviews but this one definitely deserves it! The hosts Marie and Michael were so pleasant, kind, and welcoming. They stopped by to check if everything was good, they’re kind souls made this even a better place. It was very clean, relaxing, and beautiful. Bathrooms were sanitized and clean. We will definitely stay there again… Marie was very responsive, and provided great directions and instructions. Absolutely love this place!

We have had nothing but great success with all our Hipcamp stays! Great hosts and better CS than Airbnb. Recommended💯

The evening was beautiful. Views of Collegiate Mountains were extraordinary. Watched the sun go down, a storm roll past, and woke up thinking there was a street light above the tent. I walked out and it was a HUGE bright moon beaming so crisp and clear. Brightest I have ever seen the moon in my 59 years. Site, bed, tent, Adirondack chairs, perfect set up for a 10/10 stay!!

My husband and I spent 3 nights here several days ago in this amazing farm/woodsy setting out in peaceful nature. We enjoyed the trailer we rented, the summer kitchen where we prepared simple meals, coffee etc., used the refrigerator + . We spent a lot of time in the library in the evening enjoying a cup of tea and reading, surfing the net. The shower was really cool and enjoyed the nature setting. We walked the woods, and garden. We camped elsewhere and didn’t like it, so cancelled a night and came back! This is paradise here and will definitely return if we come back this way. Kateen was very helpful and available, easy to access.

Love the idea of this app but little things in the UX really need to be attended to - if I message someone from a specific listing, there should be a way to access/book that listing from the chat without redoing my search in a separate tab.

There are other camping apps, but Hipcamp is the app that gave me the most relevant info and displayed in the best format. I intend on using it many more times.
