HKTaxi - Taxi Hailing App

Overall useful and well featured - Has a bug when you request a taxi it will often say no connection - then it will in the background order a taxi - you then need to open the side taxi request pane to see if it’s actually ordered or not… This can result in multiple orders being generated at the same time - a touch annoying!

For an international city. The app should also allow foreigners and tourists to enter their mobile number from their home countries as many visitors now choose to do international roaming. As for myself if I want to book a taxi I need to use Uber to book a taxi in Hong Kong instead of using your app.

Didn’t work well , lots of taxi around the area . Still couldn’t get one . Waste of time .

The current pop-up ad is intrusive. It covers the screen when the app is launched. The ad is hard to close and easy to click inadvertently. The ad interferes with the app’s use.

I admit it is more effective to get a taxi if you input destination in Chinese, however pretty simple, self explanatory app. Should have option for Payment method - ie, whilst I have a preferred method, am agnostic on which one gets me a taxi quickest (as some taxi drivers would prefer cash vs credit card)

Says English support but when I contacted support the person only spoke Cantonese and then hung up. Did it again and that was it!! HK taxis are not cheaper, internal condition of most cars is disgraceful (some cars stink of cigarettes) and attitude towards credit card payment still prehistoric HONESTLY THERE IS NOT ONE REDEEMING REASON TO USE HK TAXIS. USE UBER‼️

Won’t accept foreign cell phone numbers to create account. Just use UBER. It’s user friendly.

Payment processed but can driver says he can’t see it so makes you pay again in cash. Ring customer service they say they can’t speak English. Don’t use unless you are fluent in Cantonese even though says supports English

Need a chat function with staff in the event customer need to talk to someone and app needs clear instructions

Don't waste your time. The drivers cancel on me everytime! Use Uber instead!
