HOMER: Fun Learning For Kids

Like other reviewers pointed out, I used to get my daughter ready for Grade 1. She liked at first but then lost interest because of the pace of the lessons. I wish the app would adjust to the user and speed up the pace when needed. She also doesn’t like that she has to wait for instructions before marking some of the words she already understands. It’s a very good app tho.

We have loved the homer app for our 6 and 2.5 year old, it’s a great app. The issue I have with it is that after the three trial period ends, you’re charged $112 CAD if you picked the one year subscription. That would have been fine but when I signed up for the year, the website (which is where I signed up) said 59.99 for the year…. But apparently that was in US. It would be nice if the website said that you’d be charged US so you were aware… and also… the math doesn’t make sense.. it charged me 79.99 US on my visa bill. Really hoping a customer service rep will contact me back as I have already emailed them and am waiting a response. So disappointing… $112 is a lot of money for a year subscription.

We subscribed to this application but instead of a program that functions within its own platform, it seems to link to websites. We have Internet browsers strictly controlled on our children's devices except for websites that have been entered manually into a list of "allowed websites." When the links within the Homer application jump to a browser window, a white screen appeara with the error message: "Restricted Site You cannot browse this page at "localhost" because it is restricted." and there is no website addresses displayed, so I am unable to add anything into the list of allowed websites. As a cosequence, we are left with an application that is not usable.

Before it was said that I have to pay 6 dollars thn it suddenly turn out no it’s 12 or so.

Haven’t been able to use my month I paid for at all!!

I purchased a monthly subscription… but it wouldn’t let me create an account with my ipad… the password bar wouldn’t let me type anything in…

Great app! Paid so much money but crashes so much! Very annoying

The app asks to login and I try to used Forgot password feature but receive no email. If I try to start a new trial or subscribe again the app says I have a subscription and try logging in, so I have no way to access my subscription or start a new one. Send support request through the website but no response. Send message through Facebook and no response. Think twice before you decide to subscribe and be willing to deal with frustration from horrible customer support experience.
