Honeywell Air Comfort

Installation of a new airco is fast, but not completely intuitive. e.g. during installation, having to press the TEXT line “press next to continue” first, before the Next button activates, is nonsense. There’s no tickbox or something that hints towards that. The UI is as it should be. No clutter, all functional and the response over the 2.4GHz wifi is fast. It does not connect to 5GHz networks. Unfortunately, it does not support Siri commands. Love the automation scripts. All in all, four stars.

The app just shows keys for translations but no real translation so now I’m stuck guessing what ka_pwd_rule_6 is 🤷‍♂️🤦 so I cannot register and cannot use the app

For some bizarre reason you are unable to create an account. It has 6 level password requirements and I can only achieve 5 with all possible combinations. Even a password generated one does not work. Have contacted customer support who didn’t pick up the phone. Sent an email and no response. I cannot believe that the Honeywell brand is associated with this poor App.

Cannot register due to unclear password conditions/requirements

This is my first De-Humidifier that I can remotely use and keep an eye on levels of humidity. One thing I do not see is the ability to see when the unit is running or not? Other than this feature seems to be functioning properly.

Easily setup and nice to have remote on/off and timer functionality. App should have timer delete options to remove, rather than just on:off toggle. Would also be nice to have time of day programming (1-hour before sunset, etc) in addition to hardwired times to be flexible as seasons change.

Hi, I do like the features of the app showing current humidity and being able to adjust and turn on and off. What I do not see and would help the user knowing when the humidifier is running or in standby mode. As of now there is no indication in the app whether it be wording or even a color change within the app so you can tell when it is on if it is running or the fan is in standby mode waiting for temp change. List of requirements to connect is very 7years ago. Must have a 2.4g WiFi. Haven’t had one if those in 10 years. You can connect via Bluetooth but only in android. I’m one of those rare iPhone users. This is pathetic.

App is workable to remotely tweak humility levels and receive notifications on bucket full and filter cleaning reminders. I was surprised the developer left out real time notification if the dehumidifier is running or off. To me that’s an important knowledge point. If I’m missing something obvious, please let me know. Otherwise it’s a 5 star stand alone monitoring and control app for the dehumidifier.

Not much more to say then what I put in the title. A little sketchy that the developer appears to be some Chinese company. Not directly related to the app, but the product registration website doesn’t work on iPhones.
