House of Power: The Game

I have set here for about 45 minutes, after paying the $4.99 for no ads. That way I didn’t have to watch 5 ads to continue or wait the 45mins to play again. Throughout this game, you need to make decisions for your election campaign. I did see the clear in game prices for each decision, but there is no way to make it through this game with using only in game money. I made it to where I was arrested for an alleged assassination attempt on my opponent. Paid for the cheapest lawyer because I just didn’t have the money. Then I went to jail, you can either top up on gems to relook at lawyers or pay your bail which is 300k, and there is now way you will have 300k at this point. So like other reviews, this game is a waste of time.

Doesn’t give you time to actually enjoy it before it starts to throw prices in your face. If you want to earn my money let me the consumer decide I want to give it to you don’t make me make a decision that will make me have to pay therefore I will again delete the app like everyone else will do.

I thought this game would be a fun and unique experience, but it’s just like episode but with politics. I saw the stupid diamond system and immediately rolled my eyes. Literally just another pay to win game. If that wasn’t enough, what in God’s name is with the 45 minute cooldown that requires 5 ads to skip? Do you even want people to play your game? I’d actually enjoy this if it wasn’t another lazy cash grab that tries to make you spend money over and over again.

If you pick any choose in the game that isn’t progress at all or if you aren’t for lgb or taxing the rich or any other liberal agenda it tells you that you lose and you can change your mind or start over

Way too expensive to purchase cash, have to spend about $40 just to have any chance and no opportunity to gain cash/diamonds from ads.

After reading all the reviews, it appears that I'm the only person to spend an amount larger than 20.00 to purchase in-game cash. My first purchase was the 39+ package, which faced me 750k. I used that to get to the presidency and complete the first year. I was faced with a crisis in the Middle East and had to fly to a UN meeting in Africa, and I had to decide which method of transportation I would use Air Force One or Marine One. As you can imagine, both cost more than I had in the bank after burning through the 750k I purchased. So what do I do? I purchased the 10 million dollar in-game package for 99.99, thinking I would have enough cash to continue, and hopefully, opportunities will come up to make more cash. Low and behold after the UN meeting, I get back to the White House, and the message dialogue says congratulations on getting through your first year as president. You have lots of decisions ahead of you and basically said, "Try from the beginning to make different choices to see the various outcomes while we prepare the rest of this game. It took me back to the beginning and the entire 10 million dollars. Actually, it was 9.9 million gone, and it disappeared from the cash account. I'm currently waiting for an explanation and will keep everyone posted.

Basically this game is a simulation of you running for president. After a couple minutes of playing, you’re forced to either unlock premium ($5 a week), wait 45 minutes to continue, or watch 5 ads. After this, without being able to tell how much things in the game cost, whether it be hosting a campaign with the game provided money, you will eventually run out. Once this happens, you are either forced to start over, or use your own money to buy more in game money, otherwise you can’t continue. Highly recommend you don’t play the game. Very disappointing.

I paid $39.99 for a year of premium. Played for five minutes. Needed to spend another $4.99 to make a good decision in the game. Played another two minutes and now I am stuck unless I shell out more real money. Ten minutes, $45. This is garbage.

The game is amazing and has great concepts. But you are stuck if you can’t afford to make a decision unless you want to make a purchase. They game would be so much better if you could make a decision that doesn’t cost anything.

One sided… if your campaign doesn’t align with game political views you pretty much lose and forced to start over or spend diamonds…
