Housekeep

Cleaner damaged our brand new carpet, lied about it, and the company refuses to take responsibility. A disgrace. Allow into your home at your own risk.

I booked a clean 5 days in advance, filled everything out, messaged my cleaner with information on the job/how to get here etc but she didn’t turn up. I messaged her - still nothing. I called through the app and it didn’t work (another function in the app that is annoying because it doesn’t work), so I contacted customer support where I wasn’t fully listened to, sent erroneous messages, nothing was resolved and I was just told “sorry”. The app itself is slow, clunky and annoying to use. Pages that are vaguely helpful, then disappear and you cannot get them back. You also get put on a mailing list where you are spammed daily with the exact same email every time and are promoted, constantly, to do things I’ve already done. I will not be using this app again. Thanks!

Never ever had a good experience

This was advertised as a professional service cleaning, expected to see a team coming with a special equipment and doing a proper deep clean before I move in. They even charged me additional £30 for the van this team was supposed to come with, additional £50 for steam-cleaning of roman blinds and £40 for professional dry cleaning of sofa. Overall, I paid £400 instead of a standard £200 price for a 1-bedroom apartment, expecting a better service. Instead 1 guy showed up (also 1 hour late) with a set of wipes and started asking where I had the mop and vacuum cleaner. The result of the cleaning was mediocre at best, windows were left with stains all over, sofa was left dusty and I don’t think he even touched the blinds. He also left his jacket at my place and he started calling me in the middle of the night trying to reclaim it. Avoid this service!

Watch out! While the cleaning service is great and no issues. Its very very difficult to cancel the regular schedule. Almost scam like!

Would not recommend especially if you are expecting guests. They have cancelled my appointments for the only two bookings I’ve made. When I asked them to reschedule as soon as possible they keep asking what’s the latest time I can do. Maybe NEVER?!

The service from housekeep is awful. I booked a cleaner to come every week for 3 hours. She came on the first week and everything was fine. She then cancelled every week for the next 4 weeks. I contacted Housekeep to change my cleaner - they did. They then sent a cleaner that refused to clean because she downer like dogs; despite all my booking stating that I had a dog but he is friendly. Don’t waste your time - couldn’t organise a drink up in a brewery.

Very scammy. Once you have made a booking it is impossible to get out of a recurring cycle. There is no cancel, other than requesting a callback that never comes. Highly regret using the app in the first place

i attempted to log into the housekeep app, but it kept displaying a "no internet connection" message. despite granting the app internet access, it still didn't work. my internet connection is functioning perfectly with other apps. i tried deleting and reinstalling the app several times, but this did not resolve the issue. housekeep remains frustratingly unresponsive

I downloaded the app to give a try and started with a two week schedule. The cleaner turned up on the day and was not too bad actually. However, I decided to change from the schedule and book cleaners as and when I wanted. And this is where they catch us, you cannot cancel the schedule! There is no option, they only allow to change or skip, but not to cancel. I find this appalling. I contacts their chat support and after long wait and then conversation with a member I was told that cannot cancel and I need to wait for their customer service to contact me. I am still waiting! Needless to say will never use them again. It is a right of every customer to cancel any service at any time without needing to explain why.
