Hover - measure, design, quote

When first installed, the app worked fine. Now opening the app only produces a blank screen with a title and that’s it. I’ll be deleting the app and moving on.

As one who is not tech savvy but can nonetheless use the camera feature on my phone and take great shots of my home from every angle, getting theses pics on or through Hover was a frustrating waste of time. If that’s what the contractor requires, I’ll go with a well established contractor that doesn't require it. Im sure there are those that love it but count me as someone who doesn’t; a senior citizen with the desire, need, and financial means to go forward with the work that needs to be done on the house, that years ago, I would have just done myself.

This app does amazing things considering it’s free but I can barely use it for 5 minutes without freezing/crashing completely. Trying to make exterior edits on my 3D model but the screen goes white and never loads again.

It reported a floor area 10% larger than the actual area of my house. My insurer then raised my premium $300 per year.

Contacted support about lagging issues when taking photos and was told that maybe I should restart my phone. May be time to give EagleView more of my business.

So far, I’ve seen no evidence that this app works at all. It hangs at the initial Loading screen. I’ve updated to latest iOS and removed app, deleting all data prior to reinstall. No luck.

I am just a homeowner (not a pro contractor) with no 3d modeling experience. I needed a 3d model of my house to help me plan out my Christmas light display (using XLights). I downloaded the Hover app and found it very easy and intuitive to use. It took less than 15 minutes to download the app and take a dozen-ish photos of the house. The app automatically submitted them and less than 24 hours later I had a very accurate 3d modeling of my home. I had a little trouble exporting the model file in the right format, but the Hover customer support was very helpful and responsive. I could see that this would be an incredibly useful tool for a builder or contractor. 👍👍👍

Downloaded this app, opened it and it wouldn’t go any further than the first “Loading” screen. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and again same issue.

I utilized this app to visualize different siding types, windows, doors, roofing, and trim. I cannot believe how useful it has been and the ability to have such information so quickly. As a homeowner, I asked the customer service for measurements and they sent them directly. I cannot express how great of software as well as a team they have. Top notch service at your figure tips! Thankful for such a great service at ZERO cost!

Easy to use, and very helpful for visualizing design changes. Unfortunately, on iPhone 13 Pro with iOS 17 it’s super buggy and crashes about every 2nd or 3rd material change.
