HTX Trash and Recycling

I was always left scrambling whenever trash day comes. Whether it was recycle, heavy trash, regular, or yard debris, I never knew what day it fell on. This app has changed my life! I get reminders now so that I can stay on top of my trash pick up. Definitely recommend for anyone who always forgets and is left to deal with the repercussions of missing trash day.

Loads to a blank window. I’ve relaunched multiple times, it’s just buttons at the bottom and a blank screen.

The app is ok except it doesn’t notify when city of Houston doesn’t pickup trash or recycle! We haven’t had a recycle pickup for over a month & trash pickup is hit or miss.

I’ve installed and reinstalled several times. My settings are all correct yet I don’t get notifications.

This app is extremely useful and user friendly for being in the know. Kudos

App easy to use and look up schedule. Would be great if the app also includes holiday modified schedule.

It doesn’t. App is worthless if it doesn’t do the one thing it says it does. All other apps I own don’t have notification problems so don’t fall for the developers lazy response that it’s your settings. Any other app’s notifications work. So this developer just needs to fix the notifications or rebuild the app on a stable framework. But it’s not the user’s fault their app doesn’t work. Fix the app. Don’t blame your users. Just make it work like any other app

Great app and very good reminders on trash pick ups! Works great — no issues!

So far, we are pleased with our trash and recycle pickup. Once the lid broke on the black can. I called and we received a new trash bin within a few weeks. Other than a few delays on recycle pickup, we have no complaints. The app is helpful and a good reminder.
