iAnnotate 4 — PDFs & more

links in pdf to external(other) pdf file is not working (in version 3 works fine) its not clear how to run context search through library now (is it indxing files in v4???) then trying to download large folder from dropbox always show error “no internet connection” upd: Devs is on the way to fix it.

Лучше пока не нашел. Нижеупомянутого iannotate pdf в поиске app store увы не нашел, так что сравнить не могу. Наверное не ра работает на ios 11. В общем, в этой версии меня все устраивает. Все очень удобно. Но есть одно НО! Разработчики, добавьте функцию как в ibooks - фиксация линии прочтения текста. То есть когда делаешь зум и мотаешь влевр-вправо, чтобы моталось именно влево и вправо, а не по всем 4 направлениям, то есть включая вниз и вверх, когда это не нужно. Доставляет небольшие неудобства

Приложение часто вылетает. Iannotate pdf работает гораздо стабильнее. Несколько раз приложение вылетало с открытым PDF, в результате чего документ пропадал. Из-за нескольких вылетов пришлось перейти на другое приложение для работы с PDF.

I have evaluated a number of apps for pdf annotating. In controlling how to annotate, iAnnotate is by far the best I have tested. But the handling of files is following a single-minded my-way-or-the-high-way paradigm, where you had forced to copy your file to iAnnotate’s folder. If you only have one device, and one app for your pdfs, iAnnotate is great. If you are like me (multi-app-and-devie user), not so much.

The soundfiles can’t be played om macs with Catalina operations system. It’s apparently an apple problem, but sadly it renders the app pretty useless for me.

I use this app for feedback to the assignments of my highscool math students. The result is a pdf-file with several verbal comments anchored at the right spot in the assignment. The student can still scroll around in the paper. And my feedback is more precise and personal the written feedback. I`ll never go back..

After having tried a couple other pdf apps, I find that iAnnotate has the best integration with my cloud storage (Dropbox) and ability to export my annotations.in particular, It can synchronize the pdf I’m actively working on instead of my whole (large) library of PDFs. It does have a very annoying integration with Apple Pencil though: if you start using the pencil it will assume that all interaction with the screen is also a pencil. So, If I write a note with the pencil and then want to scroll down with my finger I will draw a line with my finger instead of scrolling. It should be able to know the difference between the pencil and a finger. If it wasn’t for the good integration with the my cloud storage this issue would have resulted in a one star review. It is extremely annoying. The interface is also somewhat confusing. It can also export annotations to a text file (instead of only as an email which most other similar apps does) which is something I use a lot. Please fix the integration with Apple Pencil and this is a five⭐️ app.

Har brugt iAnnotate i flere år og har været glad for den. Men efter køb af iPad Pro 11” med Apple Pencil 2 er jeg skiftet over til PDF Expert. PDF Expert fungerer langt bedre med Apple Pencil 2 og har, i det hele taget, et mere simpelt brugerinterface.

Nr1 App for large pdfs period! This is the bedst app for large pdf ever. I use it profesional. Search fast for any word or value in a large pdf file ,over 700 pages in my case. Use bookmars, annotation: note, pencil, signature, sound clip, photo, stamp and so on. Just love it😍

Med iAnnotate blev jeg i praksis fri for papir!
